Can I use your product without making any in-app purchases?

Absolutely, StrayShot is a free-to-play game that anyone can play and enjoy. We do have assets that can be purchased on marketplaces but they are not required at all to fully experience the game loop or to get on top of the leaderboard. We also organize tournaments that will require battle passes.

How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?

StrayShot utilizes blockchain technology to reward competitive players with rewards in forms of NFTs and/or tokens. This ensures that these players are incentivized in a transparent manner while enabling asset ownership and transferability. StrayShot does NOT manage or hold users private keys, players take full custody of their own tokens and NFTs.

What utility does this bring to the product?

Utilizing this technology allows us to create a thriving ecosystem of players who own their assets, earn rewards and also have a chance to contribute to the world of StrayShot.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

StrayShot does not require players to connect to an external wallet service. Wallets are automatically generated on the player's device when the game is initialized. We recommend taking a backup of the private key from the “Wallet Info” section of the game to prevent loss of private key due to unforeseen loss/destruction of the player’s device.

Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

StrayShot has many elements throughout the game that involve blockchain transactions without the need of users intervention. Users will be required to provide confirmation for monetary/NFT related transactions only.

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

The game uses SKALE Chain for operational transactions. SKALE is proof-of-stake, which allows it to be less resource intensive and more eco-friendly.

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

Yes! StrayShot has an in-game marketplace where players can redeem their rewards for character skins, consumables and other add-ons.
