Why Early Access?

We will use Early Access to thoroughly test Xenonauts 2 and experiment with the features and balance of the game. Early Access provides a great way of involving players in the development process. The community feedback we gained during the development of the first Xenonauts made a huge difference to the final quality of the game and we're looking forward to working with the community to make Xenonauts 2 even better!

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately two years, but it may be longer depending on the suggestions and feedback from the community.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

The full version of the game is planned to have additional content influenced by community feedback during Early Access, however, the structure and major mechanics of the game are already present now. We also plan to conduct additional polishing, balancing, and bug fixing during the Early Access period.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The Early Access version is fully playable and has all the content and features described on the store page - players will be able to complete a campaign and experience the full range of enemy UFOs, technologies, and story missions.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

We do not currently intend to increase the base price of the game either during Early Access or for the full version release.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

We love involving the community in development, and are active on our Discord (يفتح في علامة تبويب جديدة) and the forums as well as our community forums (يفتح في علامة تبويب جديدة). We welcome all feedback, suggestions, and bug reports.
