The Enhanced update is just the latest in a surprisingly large amount of updates that have come to the open-world, action-adventure game since its release in March.
In the less than six months since the game’s release it has already received 17 patches delivering more than 20 new features and content additions, 120 new mounts and pets, and 70 new outfits, equipment, and items.
In Crimson Desert, you take on the role of Kliff, the acting leader of the Greymanes, who travels across the continent of Pywel on the hunt for his lost comrades, helping others along the way. The open-world exploration is made all the more alive with bustling towns and cities, an endless array of sidequests, minigames, and the ability to continue to customize your character’s look through hairstyles, tattoos, outfits and dyes.
It also supports the ability to tame more than 90 different animals to make your pets, including everything from a goose or hedgehog to a dog, cat, or red panda. Mounts in the game are almost as diverse with about 40 options that range from a collection of horses to bears, camels, boars, deer, birds, reptiles and dragons.
Combat is as open as the world of Pywel, allowing you to forge your own path by controlling your character’s many possible upgrades and the weapons you use.
In the first three months since its release, Crimson Desert sold more than six million copies worldwide.
