Explore a trio of scary titles on the Epic Games Store this week.

We’re back in Fabletown, an area of New York where creatures of fairy tales and folklore have been exiled. Players control sheriff Bigby Wolf (the Big Bad Wolf) as he uncovers a series of grisly murders while dealing with the likes of Mr. Toad, the Three Little Pigs, and Snow White.

The remaster packages all five episodes together, modernizes the game engine, and even restores some cut content. It’s the definitive version of the game and well worth playing now before the sequel arrives in 2027.

Vampir, Netmarble’s action RPG with bite, arrived just in time for Halloween on the Epic Games Store. It’s an MMO with a huge twist on the basic formula: there are no healers. Each of the five characters can self-heal by hurting enemies, consuming their blood to heal and build up buffs to unleash.

In the twisted, gothic world, gather your vampire clan together and battle the vampire hunters out to get you, while also prepping for the clan wars that will see server vs. server battles. Choose from specialized classes, like the scythe-wielding Grim Reaper, deadly Akasha, and gun-toting Carnage, to carve through open-world skirmishes. Gather resources like Trinity to craft rare gear or engage in player-driven trading.

Free until Nov. 5, 2026, Sorry, We're Closed is a highly rated indie survival horror game that follows Michelle as she attempts to break a demonic curse. It’s tinged with nostalgia, combining Resi-like fixed camera angles and FPS shooting with surreal environments, puzzles, and tight resources.

Granted a "Third Eye" that allows her to peer between reality and the underworld to reveal hidden vulnerabilities, you must fend off terrifying interdimensional threats while uncovering the mystery behind your lovelorn doom.
