About Epic Coupons:
The 25% Epic Coupon is automatically applied to eligible transactions at checkout. The discount will apply to each eligible product purchased either individually or within the shopping cart AND you’ll get another coupon each time you complete an eligible transaction. Epic Coupons apply to single or multiple eligible games priced at, or combining to, $14.99 or above (or local currency equivalent), see the FAQ below for more details.
The Epic Games Store MEGA Sale is live from May 18, 2023 at 11am Eastern Time to June 15, 2023 at 11am Eastern Time. Coupons expire on Thursday June 15, 2023 at 11:00AM Eastern Time.
- WHAT IS AN EPIC COUPON?
- An Epic Coupon is a coupon distributed as part of the 2023 Epic Games Store MEGA Sale that is applied at checkout when purchasing eligible games on the Epic Games Store.
- HOW DO I RECEIVE MY FIRST EPIC COUPON DURING THE EPIC GAMES STORE MEGA SALE?
- All users will be automatically granted a coupon during their first checkout flow however the coupon will only become visible in your account after either downloading a free game or clicking the claim button on one of our Coupon advertisements in store. Subsequent coupons can be found by clicking your account menu from the launcher or website when logged in and selecting ‘Coupons'.
- HOW DO I REDEEM MY EPIC COUPON?
- Your Epic Coupon will be automatically applied during the individual purchase checkout process or within the shopping cart during your next Epic Games Store purchase of any qualifying games priced at, or combining to, $14.99 or more. Each eligible game purchased in a shopping cart will independently receive 25% off the price during checkout. This means that a single shopping cart purchase with two eligible games will each receive 25% off their individual price and so on. There is a 50 game limit to shopping cart purchases at this time.
- WHAT QUALIFIES AS AN ELIGIBLE GAME FOR THE EPIC COUPON?
- The 25% Coupon can only be used on eligible games already released on the Epic Games Store and priced at, or combining to, $14.99 or more after any sale discounts have been applied. Taxes and other fees do not apply toward the minimum purchase requirement. This coupon cannot be used on pre-purchases or any non-game purchase such as add-ons (like DLC or season passes) or in-game purchases (such as in-game currency, like V-Bucks in Fortnite, or upgrades like Save the World mode), or these specific bundles: EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition, EA SPORTS™ PGA TOUR™ Deluxe Edition and Madden NFL 23 All Madden Edition.
- DOES MY EPIC COUPON EXPIRE?
- Yes. All unredeemed Coupons received during the Epic Games Store MEGA Sale expire on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.
- HOW LONG DOES THE EPIC GAMES STORE MEGA SALE LAST?
- The Epic Games Store MEGA Sale starts Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11 AM Eastern Time and ends Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 11 AM Eastern Time.
- CAN I RECEIVE MORE THAN ONE EPIC COUPON FOR A SINGLE TRANSACTION?
- No. However, the Epic Coupon applies to all eligible games in your shopping cart and will aggregate savings for each eligible item in your shopping cart.
- CAN I USE MY EPIC COUPON ON PRE-PURCHASES, DLC, GAME ADD-ONS, SEASON PASSES, OR IN-GAME PURCHASES, INCLUDING V-BUCKS IN FORTNITE?
- No, the Epic Coupon can only be applied to purchases of qualifying games that have already been released on the Epic Games Store. It cannot be applied to pre-purchases or to any non-game purchase such as add-ons (like DLC or season passes) or in-game purchases (such as in-game currency, like V-Bucks in Fortnite, or upgrades like Save the World mode). EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition, EA SPORTS™ PGA TOUR™ Deluxe Edition and Madden NFL 23 All Madden Edition bundles are also excluded from the Epic coupon.
- IF I RETURN THE GAME I PURCHASED USING THE EPIC COUPON, WILL THE COUPON BE RETURNED TO MY ACCOUNT?
- The Epic Coupon you used to purchase the game won’t be returned to you, but you will have received a new Epic Coupon for the original purchase that will remain eligible for use during the sale event. If a game is returned after the event is over, the coupon will be forfeited as it is past the expiration date of the Epic Coupon. Event ends June 15, 2023, at 11 AM Eastern Time.
- WHAT IF I ALREADY PRE-PURCHASED A TITLE THAT IS SCHEDULED FOR LAUNCH DURING THE EPIC GAMES STORE MEGA SALE AND COULD BE CHEAPER WITH THE EPIC COUPON?
- If you’ve already pre-purchased any eligible game that launches during the Epic Games Store MEGA Sale (May 18, 2023 at 11am ET to June 15, 2023 @ 11am ET), you’ll benefit from a partial refund to account for our 25% Epic Coupons (or local equivalent). You’ll receive an email notification of your refund when the pre-purchased game launches on the Epic Games Store. Refunds will be made back from the original payment method used when pre-purchasing.

All Epic Coupons received from placing a successful order on the Epic Games Store expire on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. Epic Coupons can only be redeemed for purchases of qualifying digital games that are available on Epic Games Store (https://store.epicgames.com/ (Opens in new tab)). Not valid on pre-purchases, add-ons, or any other non-qualifying purchases such as in-game purchases (e.g. V-Bucks or in-game currency).
Limited-time Event. You will receive the first Epic Coupon automatically during your checkout for all eligible items, after claiming a free game, or clicking the claim button on one of our Coupon advertisements in store. Subsequent coupons will be received after placing an order on the Epic Games Store between Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time and Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.
In order to qualify for an Epic Coupon Redemption, eligible games you wish to apply your Epic Coupons to must reach an individual or combined spend of $14.99 (or local equivalent value as determined by Epic Games), after any promotions and discounts are applied. Taxes and other fees do not apply toward the minimum purchase requirement.
You must have an active Epic Games account in order to receive and redeem Epic Coupons. After you receive an Epic Coupon, your Epic Coupon will be automatically applied at checkout to your next qualifying purchase in the Epic Games Store.
Epic Coupons are non-transferrable and may not be resold, bartered, auctioned, or redeemed for cash, and they have no equivalent cash value.
You can only redeem one (1) Epic Coupon per transaction, and an Epic Coupon, if one is available, will be automatically applied to your next eligible transaction. Epic Coupons cannot be combined. If you choose to return or cancel any of the games or add-ons you purchase in order to earn or redeem the coupon, your refund will equal the amount you actually paid for the game(s) (subject to applicable refund policies). The Epic Coupons used during the original transaction will not be returned.
