The BAFTA Game Awards 2024 nominations

The nominations for the 20th BAFTA Game Awards have been announced, with Baldur’s Gate 3, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and Alan Wake 2 leading the way.

The previously revealed “longlist” has been whittled down from 60 games to the 40 announced today during a livestream, and we won’t have long to wait to find out the winners. These nominations represent 17 separate categories, including Artistic Achievement, Technical Achievement, and Best Game.

The 20th BAFTA Games Awards take place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London and will be streamed live around the world on Thursday, 11 April 2024 at 7:00 PM BST / 2:00 PM EST / 11:00 AM PST on BAFTA’s YouTube, Twitch and X (formerly known as Twitter) channels.
