As you try on chain mail and fill your flagons with ale in preparation for the 27th, here’s a quick rundown of what’s coming in the Open Beta.
Maps & Modes
First off, let’s talk about all of the ways to charge into battle! The Open Beta will see some maps return from the Closed Beta while adding two new cinematically brutal Team Objective maps to the experience! Team Objective and Team Deathmatch will now be available in both 64 and 40 player lobbies so players have more freedom to pick the preferred scale of the battle before they jump in and start spamming those battle cries (aka the best way to spawn in!).We’re also extremely excited for players to get a taste of our Free For All mode, which is brand new for the Open Beta! Better yet, PC players will be able to use the server browser to jump into specially made Duel Servers so they can test their swordsmanship by challenging others to skillful fights to the death!

New Team Objective Map: The Slaughter of Coxwell
Are those torches or are you just happy to see me? Burn the Agathian farming village, plunder the town’s gold and slaughter the town’s soldiers as the Mason Order in your conquest. With a nice balance of tight choke points and large arenas, things are sure to get bloody as the battle rips its way through Coxwell.
New Map: The Battle of Darkforest
Under cover of darkness, the Mason Order charges through the Dark Forest to turn the tides of their conflict with the Agatha Knights. Escort a convoy of catapults to the final castle, and then assassinate the Agathian Duke! Keep your wits about you as you fight through Dark Forest’s wide open spaces, there may be some archers ready to put an arrow through your kne— I mean… skull.
