Today, we’re launching the Epic Games app on Google Play worldwide, bringing text chat and two-factor authentication (2FA) to more devices. We’ve also updated the Epic Games Store mobile app on Android to include the new text chat experience that we rolled out for iOS devices in December. This makes it easier to stay in touch with friends anytime across Fortnite, the Epic Games Launcher, and our mobile apps on iOS and Android.

Here’s what each app does and where you can get them.

The Epic Games app includes:

• Cross-platform text chat: send DMs and group chats, and see message history anywhere you’re logged in.

• Epic Authenticator: use your phone to secure your Epic Games account using 2FA.

The Epic Games app is available worldwide on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. 

The Epic Games Store mobile app includes:

• Epic Games Store Marketplace: find, purchase, download and play new games and apps on your mobile device.
