Body-horror inspired, zed-packed shooter Killing Floor 3 is coming to the Epic Games Store on March 25. Better still, the game is getting a closed beta next month.

Developer Tripwire Interactive said the beta will run from Feb. 20 to Feb. 24. Check out the trailer below for a glimpse at what’s in store and then head over to the sign-up page to get on the list.

If you’re not familiar with the bloody shooter franchise, the cooperative first-person shooter dropped its first game way back in 2009. The sequel, Killing Floor 2, landed in 2014, and still attracts a sizeable audience with regular updates.

Killing Floor 3 takes place in the year 2091, 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2.

Megacorp Horzine has finally produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. (They’re not zombies, my friends, they’re engineered bio-death machines.) Now, the only thing standing between the corp creations and the future of humanity is the rebel rogue group known as Nightfall.

In Killing Floor 3, you become a member of Nightfall as one of several specialists, teaming up with up to five teammates as you shoot, thwack, and sweat your way through a war-ravaged, dystopian future, trying to survive waves of Zeds, unlocking new skills, and building the ultimate arsenal.

Some of Killing Floor 3’s key features include six-player co-op with full crossplay support across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, redesigned Zeds with new methods of movement and smarter AI, and expansive new arsenal that includes everything from shotguns to katanas. You can also fully customize your gameplay style with hundreds of mods, gadgets, and skills.

The game’s new locations include interactive elements—like turrets that can be activated and traps you can use to clear out the Zed. And of course there’s the M.E.A.T. System (Massive Evisceration and Trauma), which delivers even more realistic carnage this time around. We’re talking additional points of dismemberment and even persistent blood.

If you haven’t been staying on top of the stream of Zed reveal trailers coming from Tripwire, make sure you check out their latest, below. It shows off the Siren.

Pre-orders for the game are open now and include the limited timed exclusive Flatline Tactical Bundle which comes with a Flatliner weapon skin, Fear the Reaper trinket, and Special Action Force player card.
