What is Angelic?

Angelic is a narrative strategy-RPG set in a collaborative and dark sci-fi universe. Experience an immersive dark sci-fi universe that you can govern and contribute to. Angelic is a collaborative intellectual property — we will build and enjoy it together.

Where Can I See More Gameplay?

Gameplay videos can be found on our our official Youtube (Opens in new tab) channel. We also recommend you to join our Discord (Opens in new tab) server and stay tuned for exclusive gameplay events!

Is the Game Available on Only PC?

Angelic will be initially available on PC. We are aiming at next-gen consoles as a next step. Switch and mobile versions and companion apps are also being planned in the long run.

Why Early Access?

Early Access allows us to engage with the community and gather valuable feedback to enhance the gameplay experience. By involving players early, we can ensure "Angelic: The Chaos Theatre" meets and exceeds player expectations, delivering a polished and engaging final product.

What is included in Early Access?

The Early Access version includes:

  • Core gameplay mechanics and strategic turn-based combat

  • Several playable heroes with unique abilities
    Initial multiplayer modes

  • A portion of the storyline and world-building elements

  • Foundational AI integrations and basic character customization options

  • PvE and Co-Op game modes

What is the current state of the game?

The game is in Open Alpha stage. It is mostly stable and optimized for the minimum and recommended PC systems. We are continuously improving the game on all fronts!

How long will the game be in Early Access?

We expect minimum 12 months.

How often will you be updating the game?

Except for big milestone lockdown periods (which we always announce prior), we usually update the game frequently, at least twice a month. Milestone lockdown periods can take several weeks to 2 months, during which we refrain from updating the game. This allows us to focus on significant improvements and additions.

Will my progress be saved during updates?

Yes.

Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?

Angelic: Dark Symphony will be a premium content pack available for purchase upon release.

However, Angelic: The Chaos Theatre is a free-to-play edition of the base game and will remain free even after the Early Access period. To show our gratitude to our early players, we will be offering more rewards and free goodies during Early Access!

Can I provide feedback and bug reports?

Feedback and bug reports can be submitted through our official Discord server (Opens in new tab). We actively monitor this channel to address player concerns and incorporate suggestions. We even offer additional rewards, such as community points, to those who kindly help us improve the game.

How Do I Contact Support?

You can get in touch with us through our Discord (Opens in new tab).

Are there items (such as additional content, offers, or currency) for sale that are used in the gameplay?

We will be offering hero skins and various additional customization options for sale. These items are always for cosmetic purposes and never provide any competitive advantage.

During the open alpha period, all the hero skins will be available for everyone!

Can I play Angelic without making any in-app purchases?

Yes, all in-app purchases will be optional and for cosmetic purposes.

Are in-app purchases refundable?

No.

What payment platform is used to facilitate these purchases? Do you use Epic Games’ platform or a 3rd-party (including your own) payment system?

All purchases will be facilitated through Epic Games' secure payment platform. By using Epic Games' payment system, we aim to provide our players with a safe and seamless purchasing experience.

Will there be a blockchain version of Angelic? Are those blockchain features or NFTs required to play the game?

We do not define Angelic as a blockchain or NFT game because that would imply the game needs blockchain technology to run, or that players need NFTs to play the game. The version you are looking at has no blockchain-related components or features. In fact, we do not have any blockchain-related features on any platform or version at the moment.

We will be implementing some tools and features that utilize blockchain technology. These features will be optional and only accessible via the blockchain-enabled version of Angelic. For example, players will have the option to convert their in-game assets into on-chain items, also known as NFTs.

Even though such features will be optional, Angelic's default version will not include any blockchain features. Therefore, you will need to get the blockchain-enabled version of Angelic from the Epic Store for such operations. We will launch the blockchain-enabled version of Angelic at a later date.

If blockchain features are optional and not really needed to play the game, why will you implement them anyway?

We do not believe that games need blockchain features to be fun or immersive. However, we believe blockchain technology can provide valuable utilities that enhance the gameplay experience and empower players in various ways.

For example, we plan to introduce a community-driven Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) called the Council of the Angels. Unlike other DAOs you may be familiar with, ours will be focused solely on empowering players. The only way to earn a seat in the Council is by earning community points through your contributions to the community and the broader intellectual property. The Council will have governance authority over many aspects of the game, including game design, balancing, and prioritization of upcoming features—a concept we call collaborative IP building.

Another exciting feature is our upcoming Angelverse Cloud, which will run on blockchain technology. This cloud will allow contributors to offer their idle computing power, which will, in turn, power our dynamic dialogues and deep-learning AI. This will make our RPG features and combat more immersive.

As you can see, the blockchain features in Angelic are not directly tied to the core gameplay, which is why we do NOT define Angelic as a blockchain game. Instead, these features are designed to empower players indirectly and enable us to implement many great innovations.

So I will never need any blockchain features, wallets, or NFTs to play Angelic, right?

Correct. This product will not offer any blockchain features at all. If you wish to convert your assets into NFTs, you can opt for the blockchain-enabled version instead.

If I play Angelic via the default version (no blockchain), can I still earn community points and get a seat and title from the Council of Angels?

Yes. Earning community points is not related to which edition you use to play Angelic.
