What is Avalon The Game ?

Avalon is an upcoming worlds first multichain online true open world MMORPG built in Unreal 5 engine and with implementation of multiple blockchains. Set in a fantasy medieval kingdom, players utilize their NFTs to explore a world of danger and mystery while competing for cryptocurrency and rare NFT rewards. Inspired by the legend of King Arthur and alternate history of Knights templar, this game challenges every player to undertake a thrilling adventure in their quest to ultimately claim their very own seat among the Knights of the Round Table. Along the way, players earn rewards (i.e. NFTs, in game tokens) by purchasing, renting, or securing resources as well as collaborating with landowners to acquire and build in-game real estate.

Avalon is presently under active development, employing an iterative approach, and will gradually unveil its various game modules and islands. The entire development process, hosted on Unreal Engine 5, is expected to span the next 4-6 years. This approach enables continuous expansion of the game while fostering an immersive co-development experience for the player and creator community within Avalon the Game.

The journey commenced with the release of the first Unreal Engine 4 module in January 2023, with the most recent beta slated for availability in October 2023.
