Are NFT purchases necessary to play?

No Cosmetic items either as NFT or from the ingame store are not required to play the game

How can I access Nightmare and Hell difficulties?

Once Asmodeus is defeated return to the main menu and you can now select Nightmare (after Nightmare, Hell)
Nightmare and Hell are continuations of Normal.
Normal goes to ~lvl 50
Nightmare to ~lvl 70
Hell to ~lvl 99

How much crypto can you earn playing the game?

Exact reward numbers change from time to time, what you earn is a cryptocurrency called EQ.
Rewards can be increased with having cosmetic items equipped, for F2P players rewards are reduced.

How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?

Blights Wrath allows the optional connection of a Blockchain wallet (Xumm wallet) to the game, if connected the game will get the NFTs from that wallet and give the player the items they represent in the game.
Also if a wallet is connected rewards from the daily quests can be transferred to the given Blockchain wallet.

Both of these actions are optional.

What utility does this bring to the product?

NFTs besides normal ingame items you can find in games belong to the one who owns them, this allows the owner to trade them, use them in the game ect. as they see fit.
Rewarding Players with daily quest rewards in crypto allows the player to earn while playing the game.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

A wallet is not required to play the game!

If wished a Xumm wallet (https://xumm.app/ (Opens in new tab)) can be connected, this is optional.

The underlaying chain we use is XRP. which utilizes what's known as a federated consensus algorithm, which relies on trusted members of the XRP community for validation

Yes we have a marketplace for NFTs which represent ingame cosmetic outfits, these outfits also provide a bonus for the daily rewards.
