Q: Chess Ultra has crossplay features, how do I play with my friends who play on Steam?
A: It’s simple! When launching the game, select your Steam friends list when the option is displayed on the home screen.
Q: How do I launch Chess Ultra in VR mode?
A: To launch in VR mode, follow the steps below:
In your Epic Games library, click the 3 dots to the right of Chess Ultra and select Manage.
Under Installation, click on the folder icon to open the game’s install location.
From here, right-click on the Chess2 exe and then click Create shortcut.
Copy the Chess2- Shortcut to your desktop. Right-click on it, and select Properties.
In the Shortcut Properties window, select the Shortcut tab. In the Target section, go to the end of the line, add a space and type -vr. Click Apply & then OK.
Opening the game from this newly created shortcut will allow the game to boot in VR mode as long as your headset is connected.
