Early Access- What is included in Early Access?

The Early Access version of Mautix includes core features such as creating and managing your own digital gallery, browsing and interacting with other galleries, and enjoying the immersive environments we've created. Additionally, it includes multiplayer and NFT functionalities. The content also includes one gallery type and three environments to choose from, along with various decorative items for customization. We will continue to update and add more selectable content.

Early Access- What is the current state of the game?

Currently, Mautix is in its initial development phase, featuring essential functionalities such as gallery creation, viewing, and social interactions. While the experience is polished, players may encounter minor bugs, and ongoing changes will continue to improve the game.

Early Access- How long will the game be in Early Access?

The timeframe for Early Access is currently uncertain. The Early Access phase allows us to conduct bug testing on the core features and gather player feedback to enhance the user experience. Additionally, we want to expand the content—currently, we only offer a limited number of gallery types, environments, and decorative items. We aim to have a significant variety of items available for players by the full release. While the experience is polished, players may encounter minor bugs, and ongoing changes will continue to improve the game. The main gameplay experience during Early Access will be similar to the full release.We expect Mautix to remain in Early Access for approximately 6-12 months. This timeframe will allow us to gather valuable community feedback, make necessary adjustments, and expand the game's features for the full release.

Early Access- How often will you be updating the game?

We plan to release updates on a monthly basis, with smaller patches deployed as needed. Major updates will bring new features, content, and address player feedback, while minor patches will focus on bug fixes and overall improvements.

Early Access- Will my progress be saved during updates?

Due to the NFT functionality, we have decided not to enable cloud saving. Although wallet-related save files are encrypted, for security reasons, we opted not to use cloud storage. Instead, all core user progress in Mautix is saved in our backend database. Even after the Early Access phase ends, we will not delete user progress. The save files on the user's local machine are currently used to store temporary gallery layouts and character-related content, which can be manually backed up by the user.We aim to ensure that player progress is preserved during updates. However, as this is an Early Access title, there is a small possibility of progress resets if major changes are needed. Players will be informed in advance if such situations arise.

Early Access- Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?

Due to EPIC's blockchain technology policies, Mautix will remain free indefinitely. This also aligns with our value proposition for Mautix, as we want everyone to be able to use Mautix unconditionally.

Early Access- Can I provide feedback and bug reports?

Absolutely! Players can provide feedback and report bugs via email or by joining our Discord community.

Purchase- Are there items (such as additional content, offers or currency) for sale that are used in the gameplay of your product?

No, Mautix does not charge for any items used in gameplay. Due to EPIC's blockchain policy restrictions, we cannot provide in-app purchases. However, we do offer a membership system for users who have additional exhibition needs. This membership primarily increases upload and exhibition limits, and can be subscribed to via our official website.

Purchase- Can your product be used without making any in-app purchases?

Yes, Mautix does not charge for any items and there are no in-app purchases. While we do offer a membership, the free tier provides all the necessary functionality for users.

Blockchain- How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?

We utilize IPFS technology to provide storage for user artworks. Users can choose to mint their artworks as NFTs (optional), and cryptocurrency is used solely for facilitating NFT transactions including minting, selling, and purchasing.

Blockchain- What utility does this bring to the product?

The NFT feature allows users to mint NFT directly within our game and potentially earn income. Moreover, NFTs are the only means to acquire exhibition rights for other users' artworks within the game, enhancing copyright protection while fostering transparent and decentralized transactions.

Blockchain- Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

No. Users can generate a new wallet within the game or import a Private Key from MetaMask, so there is no need to connect to an external wallet like MetaMask directly within Mautix. Currently, we use the Polygon Mainnet, which supports Ethereum wallets.

Please note that our NFT functionality is integrated with Civic Pass for KYC and AML requirements. Obtaining a Civic Pass requires connecting a wallet, such as MetaMask, but this process is done through Civic Pass's official channels, not within Mautix. Mautix also supports exporting the private key of the in-game wallet for users who wish to connect to MetaMask.

All wallet functions are performed locally, ensuring full user control and privacy. Interactions involving wallets are limited to in-game features only and do not involve any third-party connections.

Mautix will never attempt to access your wallet, and wallet backups are not stored on the cloud. Additionally, all wallet data is encrypted, ensuring that only the user can unlock it. This secure approach guarantees that your assets and keys remain entirely in your possession, adding an extra layer of protection to your digital assets.

Blockchain- Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

Yes. The use of IPFS's decentralized storage is mandatory but doesn't require extra user action. Wallet creation and usage are optional, only necessary for NFT-related activities such as minting, purchasing, or selling.

Blockchain- What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

We currently use the Polygon Mainnet. It is a full-featured multi-chain system based on Ethereum, designed to enhance scalability and reduce costs with a layer-two side chain network. Polygon operates on a Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism, offering a popular choice for developers and businesses looking to expand their blockchain applications.

Blockchain- Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

While Mautix does not have a specific marketplace, a spontaneous NFT market may arise due to the game's mechanics and the nature of NFTs. Users can earn virtual currency through NFT minting or selling and transfer these earnings to another wallet, such as MetaMask. Upon purchasing an NFT, users can exhibit it in their own gallery and also download the file with embeded blind-watermark, which is not available without owning the NFT.
