What is OverTrip?

OverTrip is a skill-based third-person battle royale , where the thrill of competition meets the world of skill-based token betting and the captivating integration of diverse NFT collections.

Do I need an account to play OverTrip?

How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?

NFTs in OverTrip are purely cosmetic and offer no strategical advantage over players.

Users will be able to gain NFTs by purchasing them through OverTrips marketplace or other third party marketplaces. Players may also obtain NFTs by owning NFTs or tokens from our partner communities.

Free NFTs will also be available though Battle Passes or other in-game events.

OverTrip's native token $TRIP will be used in the Skill Mode of OverTrip, which involves making a $0.1, $0.5 or $0.99 bet on yourself before the match.

Players will be able to win more tokens by defeating other players in the match or by placing in one of the top 3 places.

Players will be able to purchase $TRIP tokens though exchanges or earn them by winning matches in OverTrip's Skill Mode.

What utility does this bring to the product?

With NFTs players are able to customize their character however they please, using purchased NFTs, free NFTs obtained through the Battle Pass or by being apart of our partner communities. Players are also able to easily trade NFTs they don't use anymore with other users.

The $TRIP token allows players to bet on themselves in Skill Mode matches, and by winning they are able to win and take $TRIP tokens out through exchanges.

Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

Playing OverTrip does not require players to purchase any NFTs or Tokens to play.

NFTs in OverTrip are cosmetic items that don't offer advantages over other players.

Tokens are only required to play the Skill Mode of OverTrip.

Creating an OverTrip creates a wallet for players, so players don't need to create any wallets either.

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

The chain for OverTrip has not been decided yet.

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

OverTrip does not have it's own marketplace, but OverTrip NFTs will be tradable on major third-party marketplaces like OpenSea.

What is included in Early Access?

You’ll be able to compete on leaderboards and complete daily and weekly missions to earn rewards.

Free Mode

  • A 20-player, no-stake battle serving as an introduction to the game's mechanics.

  • Matches last up to 18 minutes or until one player remains.

  • Allows unlimited play for players to get comfortable and enjoy the game.

What is the current state of the game?

OverTrip is nearing it's completion, and is currently in a Beta state.

How long will the game be in Early Access?

OverTrip is planned to release out of Early Access sometime in 2024.

How often will you be updating the game?

It's planned to have regular content updates with at least one major update quarter and smaller updates in-between.

Will my progress be saved during updates?

Yes, progress is saved between updates

Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?

OverTrip is a free-to-play title and will remain after it leaves Early Access.

Can I provide feedback and bug reports?

Players will be able to report bugs directly from the game.

Are there items (such as additional content, offers or currency) for sale that are used in the gameplay of your product?

In Early Access of OverTrip, there are no items players can purchase using in-app purchases.

After the game leaves Early Access, it's planned to have purchasable cosmetic items that are not NFTs.

Can your product be used without making any in-app purchases?

Any and all planned in-app purchases will be purely cosmetic, and not required to play OverTrip.

Are in-app purchases refundable?

In-app purchase refund policy will be published when in-app purchases are made available, as OverTrip in early access does not include any in-app purchases.

What payment platform is used to facilitate these purchases? Do you use Epic Games’ platform or a 3rd-party (including your own) payment system?

In-app purchase platforms will be revealed once OverTrip leaves Early Access.
