Yes, all equipment and currency sold as an NFT can also be obtained in-game, so there is no pay-to-win.
Does this product requires me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?
No, it's not required. A Sequence wallet is automatically created for every player during sign-up, and is completely transparent to the player. The player can send/transfer in-game NFTs to any other ApeChain compatible wallet, such as MetaMask or WalletConnect.
How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?
NFTs gives players real ownership of in-game items. Also, some skill based tournaments will require $HBOX tokens for entry, and NFTs and $HBOX can be used to redeem rewards in certain events.
What utility does this bring to the product?
True ownership for players, and earning capabilities in tournament play. In an upcoming update players will be able to upgrade their NFTs in-game, and list them in the marketplace.
Are there in-app purchases within the gameplay? How are payments processed?
All NFT purchases are made through a marketplace hosted by Sequence. Payments are also processed by Sequence.
