How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?
Etherscape is deeply integrated with the Enjin Blockchain (Opens in new tab). This includes the ability to mint items as NFT's onto the chain, trade items on NFT.io, participate in game governance, use cross-game multiverse items and use ENJ coin for microtransactions.
What utility does this bring to the product?
Integration with the Enjin Blockchain (Opens in new tab) provides several utilities for players:
Mint items (Opens in new tab) to the blockchain providing players full ownership.
Buy and sell items on the blockchain for Enjin coin on NFT.io (Opens in new tab).
Use Multiverse Items (Opens in new tab) which have utility across many different games.
Hold Imperial Sovereigns (Opens in new tab) to participate in the games governance (Opens in new tab) and vote for future features.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?
No. Etherscape has a feature called Managed Wallets (Opens in new tab) from Enjin Blockchain which allows the game to manage a crypto wallet automatically on your behalf. When you are ready, you can transition to a self-custody wallet at any time. We recommend using the Enjin Wallet (Opens in new tab) on iOS or Android but any Substrate compatible wallet will work.
Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?
Yes. You can play Etherscape without engaging with any of the blockchain features.
What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?
