How can I create a Torque Motorsport Account?

Torque Drift 2 requires a Torque Motorsport account to play. Creating a Torque Motorsport account is a simple process.
To get started, follow these steps:

1. Sign up
torquemotorsport.io/account/dashboard (Opens in new tab) and click the "Sign Up" option to create a new account.

Provide a valid email address to ensure you receive important notifications. It's crucial to have access to this email address as it will be the primary channel for communication with our team.

2. Verify
Once you've submitted your email address, we will send you a verification code. Enter this code on the website to complete the account creation process.

3. Enter your details
After entering the verification code, you will be prompted to choose a username, set a password to secure your account, and specify your Country/Region.

4. Read Terms and Conditions and Create
Follow the link at the bottom of the sign up page to access and read our account Terms and Conditions.

To finalize the process, simply click on the "Create" button.

5. Congratulations!
Your Torque Motorsport account is now successfully created.

How can I link my wallet to my TM.io Account?

1. Download and Install the Metamask browser extension.
If you do not already have MetaMask installed in your browser, head to the MetaMask.io website and follow the installation instructions.

2. Create a Metamask Wallet
Once you have installed the extension you will need to create a wallet if you haven't already done so. This can be done by clicking on the MetaMask icon in your browser toolbar and following the prompts to create the wallet.

3. Connect your new wallet to your Torque Motorsport account.
Once you have your wallet set up, head to torquemotorsport.io/account/dashboard (Opens in new tab) click on the "Link Wallet" button on your dashboard and follow the prompts. You will need to sign a message using your MetaMask wallet to complete the linking process.

You're Done!
You will now be able to securely manage and use your digital collectibles across Torque Motorsport's game titles. You will also be able to buy, sell, or trade collectibles on supported marketplaces

How can I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password or need to reset it for any reason, you can do so by going to your dashboard, then clicking the "Reset Password" button. You will be prompted to enter your email address to receive an email with a verification code to reset your password.

When will the full game be released?

Torque Drift 2 is being built in an iterative way, with features and updates being released frequently for you to play, enjoy and give feedback on. We believe the game may never be truly 'Finished' as we continue improving it as voted suggested by the community.

Though the core feature set that we have identified we plan to finish by the end of 2024.

How is blockchain, NFTs, or cryptocurrency used within this product?

The blockchain is used to allow for ownership of game items. This includes many items such as parts, cars, tracks, UGC items and elements of player progression that are optionally stored on chain.

What utility does this bring to the product?

We believe that the players and the community are the ones that bring the most value to multiplayer games. With this in mind, we feel it’s only fair to allow an avenue for players to own the value they bring.
Digital assets (NFTs) are fundamentally a new technology that allows assets to be independent from the game experience, creating true ownership and value to be shared amongst the players that create it. In addition to this, the technology allows for several new ways to experience game items.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

Connecting a wallet is optional, though If you would like to purchase, trade or earn digital items within the game you simply need to create a Metamask wallet and connect it to your TM.io account by following the instructions above.

Can use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFTs, or cryptocurrency?

Yes! Torque Drift 2 offers a free-to-play experience that does not require engagement with the blockchain elements of the game.

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

Torque Drift 2 assets are created on the Polygon network, which is a Proof of stake chain that is carbon neutral, with plans to be climate positive.

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)

The game will have its own Marketplace be in the future, though right now, you can utilise any compatible third party marketplaces that supports Polygon NFTs to purchase, trade and sell assets.

What is included in Early Access?

New content and features are released frequently. This is just the start!

Torque Drift 2 is currently being built by our team alongside the community, based on a roadmap of features and content. The game is not yet full featured.

Currently, there are no additional in-app purchases available outside of digital assets/NFTs. Although there will be in game currencies available at a later stage.

Yes, the game can be played without any purchases

No, purchases are not refundable due to the nature of blockchain technology

Torque Drift 2's content purchases utilised the Torque Motorsport store and a third party payment platform. Content purchased is synced with your TM.io account to be accessed from within the game.
