MetalCore will partner with Immutable X to provide seamless blockchain integration with their new zkEVM technology running on Polygon. As a zk-rollup on a Layer 2 chain using Proof of Stake, this provides a service at equivalent energy cost to traditional web2 game titles.

How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?

Player created vehicles, weapons, units, and certain crafting ingredients will optionally be able to be converted to NFTs if desired by players, and exported from the game for trade on third-party marketplaces.

What utility does this bring to the product?

Players will have ownership over their items and be allowed to trade them at will.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

You can play MetalCore without ever connecting a wallet. MetalCore will allow players to connect using Immutable Passport to export their NFTs if so desired, but this is purely optional for the player.

Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

Yes, you can play, progress, and craft powerful vehicles in the game without ever interacting with the blockchain.

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

You will be able to extract your NFTs to your Immutable Passport wallet - from there, you will be able to move them to any EVM compatible chain that can bridge from Polygon, or sell them on any compatible marketplace, including OpenSea, Rarible, etc.
