RavenQuest's gameplay was designed to promote as much player freedom as possible, leaving it up to you, the player, to evolve your character and choose how you wish to earn. Will you be a trader? In RavenQuest there is no fixed class system, resulting in a more flexible and creative path for the rest of your adventure. Customization is key! By mixing and matching together abilities from three different Archetypes, you can shape your character as you see fit. Unlock powerful classes through endless combinations: charge through the battlefield while raining down ice storms as a towering Dreadknight; turn into the perfect assassin as a Shadowstriker or harness the raw magical power of an Arcanist. Professions are non-combat tasks you can complete to obtain materials for creating and upgrading various Items for your adventures. From upgrading your house, creating powerful new equipment, or modifying your ship to faster cross the seas, the lands' bounties are ripe to help your journey. Professions are split into gathering and crafting professions. Gathering professions such as husbandry and mining generate resources, while crafting professions transform raw materials into processed ones, such as consumables and equipment.

Put your thumbs to more peaceful use and show their green potential by growing crops. These valuable raw, natural ingredients serve a multitude of purposes across multiple recipes from armors to delectable meals.

Meat is back on the menu! Grow your livestock and small game so you may harvest food for recipes, fertilizer for your crops, and other products to aid your armor and weapon crafting. Husbandry is a versatile aid to most aspects of the game.

There are dozens of different Crops, Animals, Trees and more that you can grow on your Estate, each with its own varying grow time, yields and purposes.

Your land can be cultivated to reap exactly the produce you wish to grow, and the decision of what animals you want to take care of is entirely up to you.

RavenQuest offers a fully player-driven economy where everything has value because players create it. All items, from weapons to gear and trade goods, are crafted by players using resources they gather themselves. Crops are grown and harvested on player-owned land or found throughout the open world, encouraging exploration and ownership. Whether you're a merchant, farmer, blacksmith, or adventurer, the game's economy is shaped entirely by your actions and choices.

RavenQuest is a game rich with Player Versus Player combat, with several differents types of PvP. Dedicated Arena 2v2 Ranked Maches, Guild Wars, Plundering Channels & Aether Rifts.

While PvP is incentivized naturally in RavenQuest, through the Tradepack System, Culled Spawns & More, it is completely avoidable for those who do not wish to partake. PvP does however offer larger incentives through various aspects of RavenQuest.
