SATORIA: An Epic Post-Apocalyptic Journey of Betrayal, Power, and Survival
Step into the expansive universe of SATORIA, a 2D top-down MMORPG set in a dystopian world where civilization is on the edge of collapse, struggling to rise from the ashes of a tragic past. With a world shaped by cataclysm, conspiracy, and control, SATORIA presents players with a deeply immersive experience filled with danger, exploration, moral dilemmas, and powerful adversaries.
7,000 Years After the Fall
Humanity was brought to near extinction 7,000 years ago, following the devastation caused by the DEATH CENTAUR, a weapon of ultimate destruction that left behind unimaginable horrors—demons that took over human bodies and roamed the planet. When all hope seemed lost, a single human, Xanatos, emerged from these demonic remains, proving to be the smartest and most capable being. He purged the demons, restructured the planet, and established SATORIA CORP, a powerful entity that now controls all resources and technology. He also cloned himself to create the Satorians, the "perfect" race, while reviving humanity from its deep sleep.
Players step into the shoes of Survivors, individuals that have awakened from cryogenic sleep—people who were experimented on thousands of years ago with Spiritum, a mysterious particle with the power to open gates to other universes. This experiment gave the Survivors incredible superpowers, making them super soldiers but also exposing them to the haunting mystery of what the Spiritum really is.
Your Journey Begins
Waking up in Bunker 57, the first task is to piece together your fragmented memories, regain your strength, and understand why you were awakened. Guided by Dreg, an enigmatic representative of SATORIA CORP, players embark on a journey that will take them through both beautiful and dangerous lands, uncovering political conspiracies, power struggles, and corruption.
You'll travel across the vast regions of Sandria, the flourishing heart of the new world; Zuna, a ZBIT mining quarry full of secrets; Morko, a gruesome land haunted by mutants; Baro, a hyper-futuristic cyberpunk city run by Liberators; Doma, an arid desert reminiscent of ancient Arabian legends; Atla, the proud Satorian colony; and Frozuk, the icy mountain stronghold. Each land brings new challenges and stories waiting to be uncovered.
Forge Your Path
In SATORIA, your choices matter. The political web of SATORIA CORP runs deep—with power plays, deceit, and an iron grip over all the inhabitants of New Genesis. But SATORIA CORP is not the only force at play. The Liberators stand in rebellion, using covert means to undermine the seemingly invincible regime, and the Centaurs, monstrous beings from a dark past, still lurk and threaten.
Survivors must navigate through this complex society, making alliances, deceiving enemies, and deciding whether they will stand with SATORIA CORP or rise against it, allying with the Liberators and finding hope for humanity. Along the way, players will uncover the history of Spiritum, the dangerous particle that promises both unlimited power and untold catastrophe, and learn about Xanatos, a figure both worshipped and feared.
Epic Quests and Battles
Your mission will involve hundreds of quests, each designed to pull you deeper into the storyline. Some quests will have you forging alliances with the elite families of Sandria, others will take you to the depths of abandoned bunkers where dark secrets are hidden. You'll be helping shady underworld figures like Xavi and Marruk, navigating secret relationships, covering up conspiracies, or even deceiving powerful figures like Ayuba, the mayor of Sandria, to secure your own path forward.
The Satorian Passport questline is an example of the complexity you can expect—to craft this elusive document, you'll need to gather over twenty different rare items, each one locked behind its own lengthy questline involving deception, combat, and tough moral decisions. Whether you're infiltrating Zero Hell or crafting Mokoru Orbs to train for the ultimate showdown with the legendary centaur general Mokoru, SATORIA is filled with gripping, long-form quests that will test your decision-making skills.
Fight, Craft, and Survive
Combat in SATORIA is challenging and strategic. Monsters and foes become increasingly stronger the further you move from Sandria. Spiritum-infused monsters, security drones, and cyborgs are just some of the enemies you will face on your journey. The game uses an open-world spawning system that ensures combat is always dynamic and exciting.
Aside from battling monsters, crafting also plays a key role in SATORIA. Players can build on their land, cultivating items, crafting recipes, and constructing machines. Whether crafting a teleporter to help an NPC like Kara escape or forging Spiritum-infused Ink to deceive others, crafting will be crucial to your progress.
A World Full of Characters
SATORIA is alive with interesting and deep characters, each with their own motivations, fears, and flaws. Dreg will order you to do SATORIA CORP’s dirty work, manipulating you with secrets about your past. Yuba, managing the Zuna Mines, may seem straightforward, but his ties to the Liberators make him a dangerous ally. Ayuba, the seemingly composed mayor, descends into hysteria as she loses control over her city, enacting draconian laws in a desperate attempt to regain order.
You'll also encounter characters like Kara, a technician whose fate is tightly linked to yours, Ruka, an alchemist with a mysterious past, and Taku, a Dark Market leader whose crimes will make you question whether you're doing the right thing by allowing him to stay in power.
The relationships you form and break will determine how you navigate SATORIA’s challenges. Will you manipulate Kara into wiping security data, or protect her when she becomes a scapegoat? Will you uphold Ayuba's tyrannical decrees or quietly side with the oppressed? Will you unearth the truth about SATORIA CORP's dark dealings, or close your eyes and reap the rewards of loyalty?
Enter the Depths of Zero Hell
All roads ultimately lead to Zero Hell, the most dangerous part of New Genesis. This mysterious place serves as the ultimate test for Survivors, as Xanatos himself created it to weed out the unworthy. Zero Hell is where the Liberators and Centaurs have left their mark, filled with the powerful energies of Spiritum and secrets that could shatter the world.
To defeat Mokoru, the Centaur general, you will need to undertake special training using Mokoru Orbs, which simulate the general's attacks in a controlled environment. Only those with enough power, knowledge, and alliances will be able to face Mokoru and live to tell the tale.
Choose Your Destiny
In SATORIA, every choice has consequences. Will you become a loyal enforcer for SATORIA CORP, crush rebellions, and bring absolute order to New Genesis? Or will you fight from the shadows, joining the Liberators to end the corruption and uncover the real purpose behind Xanatos' rise to power? The world is vast, the dangers are immense, and the secrets run deep.
Will you become the hero New Genesis desperately needs, or another instrument of its enslavement? The choice is yours. The adventure awaits.
