Get to the exit before Rex gets to you!

Inspired by the 1980's classic 3D Monster Maze - arguably the first ever horror game - MMM recreates the horror and panic of knowing you're a heartbeat away from becoming Rex's next meal.

This Early Access version has the basic gameplay:

  • Choosing the maze or dark dungeon

  • Moving around the maze

  • Collecting Skulls to use as distractions

  • Playing 'statues' with Rex so he doesn't eat you

  • Finding a switch to activate the exit portal

  • Exit the maze to complete the game

  • Physical movement as well as thumbstick

There's lots of new features, monsters and environments I'd like to add, and with your generous help I'll add those along the way, whilst seeking to secure that elusive publisher deal. There's interest already, but as ever they'd like to see more before committing development funds.

I've made lots of games (over 100 commercially) on lots of platforms, for studios I've set up myself or worked as CEO/CTO for. Now I'm looking to return to IndieDev with a team of trusted friends willing to come on board and help.

You can also play this game without a VR headset!
Menus:

  • Enter: Start

  • O: Options

  • 1: Choose Open Maze level

  • 2: Choose Dark Halls level

In-game:

  • Arrow keys/WASD: Forward/backward/rotate

  • Spacebar: Fire a skull to distract Rex

  • X: Die

Press Q at any time to quit.
