"The Definition of Happiness" is a philosophical and spiritual action RPG taking players on a deep journey into the human psyche.

Story:
The protagonist, Laki, learns of the "Sacred Golden Legend" from an old book and develops a longing for the Golden World.

Fatefully, Laki meets White Pegasus, who bestows a Sacred Mirror upon him, bestowing him with the mission to awaken the "Sacred Love" in the hearts of humankind.

The adventure takes place in four villages: the Village of Justice, the Village of Wisdom, the Village of Kindness, and the Village of Freedom.

The villagers in each location harbor their own emotional struggles and inner conflicts, leaning too heavily toward a partial view of justice, wisdom, kindness, or freedom.

As the player interacts with these villagers, they awaken the "Sacred Love" sleeping in the depths of their hearts.

With each awakening of "Sacred Love," the Hexagram engraved on the Sacred Mirror emits a light. When all these lights converge, the door to the Golden World will finally open...

Key Features:
This game goes beyond mere adventure and combat. By focusing on the emotional imbalance of each village, it offers a "Heart's Adventure Experience" that poses philosophical questions directly to the player.

When encountering an enemy, you can choose how to interact with them using a variety of options: Fight, Dialogue, Gift, or Card Game.

Furthermore, you can enjoy a rich variety of mini-games, including farming, surfing races on the waves, and an original music rhythm game.

A unique storyline blending Spiritualism and Philosophy.

A philosophical narrative that unravels the specific emotional biases and conflicts of each village, prompting the player to contemplate "The Definition of Happiness."

Gameplay:
You can move your character using the arrow keys or mouse click.

You can attack with the Z key, but contacting an enemy will cause damage.

Defense is performed with the D key. Furthermore, pressing the A key in the direction of an enemy's attack will trigger a Guard, halving the damage.

If you press the A key with precise timing just before an attack, you'll perform a Just Guard, which completely nullifies the enemy's attack.

A shortcut list is displayed in the bottom-right corner of the screen and can be configured in the Menu under "Abilities & Items." You can select an item with the Q/W keys and use it with the C key.

Cancellation operations can be performed with the X key, Esc key, or the Delete key.

Growth System:
A major feature of this game is that the direction of your character's growth changes based on your choices. Strength isn't just gained through combat; the act of connecting with others' hearts itself leads to power.

Defeating a monster with an attack: Randomly increases Attack Power and Defense.

Defeating a monster with psychic abilities: Randomly increases Psychic Power and Barrier Strength.

(If you use both Attack and Psychic Abilities, the stat corresponding to the action that dealt the Critical Hit is prioritized for the increase.)

Engaging in Dialogue with a monster: Increases Self-Trust and randomly increases Agility.

(Example: Movement may be slow early on, but it increases as you engage in more dialogue.)

Giving a Gift to a monster: Increases Self-Acceptance and randomly increases Luck.

(Example: Increases the amount of money earned or positively affects the critical hit rate.)

Achieving good results in a Card Game: Randomly increases Psychic Power and Barrier Strength.
