What is included in Early Access?
The Early Access version of Valiants: Arena is free-to-play and gives full access to all the available features:
Core Gameplay: Build a team with one Tamer and four Valiants, engaging in fast-paced 2v2 battles where every turn lasts just 20 seconds. Use Spirit Points (SP) to unleash powerful skills, swap Valiants mid-fight, or adapt to dynamic arenas that shift every three turns with environmental effects.
18 Unique Valiants: Command a roster of 18 distinct Valiants, each with unique elemental affinities (like Fire, Water, etc.), roles (Attackers, Defenders, Supporters), and evolving skill sets. From fiery assaults to tactical buffs, these creatures offer endless team-building options.
Tamers: Lead your squad with a Tamer, each with special abilities—like boosting Valiant stats or generating extra SP—that shape your strategy. Early Access includes a selection of Tamers to experiment with.
Skills System: Every Valiant has a tailored skill set, upgradable as you play. Manage SP to trigger devastating attacks or meditate to recover and build combos, adding layers to the combat.
Gacha Mechanics: Unlock new Valiants and resources through a gacha system, letting you expand your collection with rare finds and elemental variety.
Skins: Customize your Tamers and Valiants with skins that not only look cool but may tweak abilities or stats, blending style with strategy.
Battlepass: A progression system rewards you with skins, materials, and more for completing challenges, featuring both free and premium tracks to keep you engaged.
Cross-Platform Access: Play seamlessly on Mobile, PC, or Mac, with vibrant 2.5D visuals bringing the world of Valoria to life.
What is the current state of the game?
Valiants: Arena Early Access delivers a robust taste of its monster-battling action, with all key features live and a beta state that’s actively improving based on community playtime.
What Works: The turn-based combat is polished, with 20-second turns, SP management, and dynamic arenas all in place. The 18 unique Valiants are available, each with distinct skills and roles, alongside Tamers, skins, gacha pulls, and a battlepass system. Cross-platform support (Mobile, PC, Mac) is live, and the 2.5D art style shines.
What’s in Progress: Being in beta, expect some rough edges—potential bugs, balance tweaks, or missing polish in areas like UI or matchmaking. Features like the full story of Valoria, additional Valiants, or expanded gacha rewards might still be rolling out in phases.
Current Vibe: It’s a solid foundation for strategy fans, with enough depth to keep you hooked—think team synergy and quick decisions—but it’s not the final product yet. The beta’s focus is on testing and refining, so you’re playing a game that’s growing with every update.
How long will the game be in Early Access?
The soft launch for Valiants Arena is planned for early June.
How often will you be updating the game?
At the moment we're releasing regular patches every 15 days, with larger patches coming every 1-2 months. Once the soft launch is live we will work on seasonal content with major updates every 2 months
Will my progress be saved during updates?
Right now, as it’s in beta, your progress in Valiants Arena is used to participate in tournaments, test combinations, and explore the systems. There’s no premium currency yet, so everything can be bought with in-game currency. However, after the full release, there will be a reset to align the game’s economy, meaning progress from the beta/Early Access won’t carry over permanently. Until then, your progress should persist between updates for testing purposes.
Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access
No, the game will remain free. Valiants Arena won’t increase in price after Early Access—it’s designed to stay free-to-play, likely relying on in-game purchases (like cosmetics or the premium currency mentioned post-release) rather than an upfront cost.
Can I provide feedback and bug reports?
Yes, you can report bugs or provide feedback on our Discord. The developers have set up their Discord server as the hub for player input, so you can join it to share your thoughts and help shape the game during its Early Access phase.
Are there items (such as additional content, offers or currency) for sale that are used in the gameplay of your product?
Right now, we don’t have any content for sale. In the future, we’ll add some in-game items you can buy to enhance your experience.
Are in-app purchases refundable?
Since we don’t have in-app purchases at the moment, there’s nothing to refund.
Can your product be used without making any in-app purchases?
Yes
What payment platform is used to facilitate these purchases? Do you use Epic Games’ platform or a 3rd-party (including your own) payment system?
We don’t have in-app purchases yet, so we’re not using any payment platform right now. When we do add them, we’ll figure out the best option—whether it’s Epic Games’ platform or a third-party system—based on what works best for our users.
