The World of Wolcen

You are one of the three "Children of Heimlock". Rescued as a child by the infamous Grand Inquisitor Heimlock, you have grown under his tutelage into a proud member of the Republican Army of the Purifiers: a force of perfect soldiers that exists to seek out and destroy the supernatural and the profane.

Recently, a mysterious Republican fortress, lost among the northern deserts of the Red Wastes, was infiltrated for reasons unknown by a heretical group known as The Brotherhood of Dawn. In retaliation, the Republic has ordered an attack on all known Brotherhood strongholds.

Under the command of Grand Inquisitor Heimlock himself, troops have been deployed near the city-state of Stormfall to purify a camp of Brothers. At his request, the Children of Heimlock have joined the Grand Inquisitor for this operation. You, alongside your adoptive brother and sister, Edric and Valeria, are about to embark on a journey that will challenge everything you know...

Skill Customisation

Wolcen’s active skills level up as you use them. Gain skill points and spend them on powerful modifiers that grant buffs, add extra utility, or even change the skill’s mechanics entirely. Freely reassign points at any time, and choose your damage type at no cost, to fully explore the possibilities.

Rotative Passive Skill Tree

Forge your own path through the 21 sub-class segments in the Gate of Fates skill tree to mould your passive skillset to your playstyle or discover entirely new ways of playing.

Strategic Fights

The denizens of Wolcen are as deadly as they are aggressive. Pay attention to your enemy, study their movements, watch out for area of effect markers, and avoid lethal attacks with your dodge-roll ability.

The Aspects of Apocalypse

A mysterious power dwells within you. Gather your strength and, when things get tough, transform into one of four different Celestial Incarnations. Use each incarnation’s unique skillset, extreme resilience, and devastating ultimate ability to turn the tide of battle.

Endless Replayability

Improve your gear by looting or crafting, gather resources to unlock rare missions, face advanced challenges for special rewards, experiment with new builds, or chase down challenging achievements. Whether you like to play solo or with friends, there is always something to do.

Unleash your fashion sense

Create a unique look for your character by using Wolcen's powerful Cosmetic Inventory. Choose the visual appearance of any item you have collected and customise it even further by using the 100+ colour dyes that you can collect on your journey. Full control even allows you to choose different shoulder and glove appearances for each side.

An Epic Campaign

Play through a sweeping story campaign, bristling with twists, turns, varied environments, deadly foes, interesting characters, and horrors beyond comprehension. Fully voice-acted, and packed with exciting cutscenes, an adventure awaits you.

Difficulty modes

Choose how to experience the story campaign with two difficulty settings: Normal mode for the intended experience, and Story mode to experience the narrative in (relative) peace.
