Why isn't Blankos Block Party available in my country on Epic Game Store?

We regularly interact with our Discord community (over 150k members!) where we encourage players to ask questions, give feedback, and get involved in community activities. How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?

Blankos utilizes blockchain technology to give players proof of verifiable ownership and transaction history - simply put, this means more control for players over the things they earn and buy! This allows you as a player to control your inventory and, if you choose to, sell these digital collectables on the Mythical Marketplace. You can use those funds to purchase more cosmetics, accessories, limited edition Blankos, or you can receive fiat currency.

The game currently does not integrate cryptocurrency. If this changes in the future, we will make an announcement on Blankos.com.

What utility does this bring to the product?

Blankos are playable digital vinyl toys brought to life! They are also digital collectables (NFTs) that can be customized and used in-game similar to traditional skins/characters in other games, but the technology also provides verifiable ownership and transaction history. This gives you more control over the things you earn and buy.

If you choose to, you can sell them on the Mythical Marketplace, and then use those funds to purchase additional limited edition Blankos, cosmetics to make the Blanko more unique to you, or receive fiat currency.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

You are not required to connect to an external wallet to play Blankos Block Party or to buy and sell items on the Mythical Marketplace. When you create your Mythical account you can buy digital collectables directly in-game or on our website with fiat currency using a Credit or Debit Card. Any digital collectables acquired are maintained in your account, and any funds received through sales in the Mythical Marketplace are shown in your Mythical Balance on your account.

You do not need to create a second account to access the Mythical Marketplace, so your account for Blankos will be enough. Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

Yes! Every account starts with a starter Blanko, which is not an NFT, on the blockchain and other rewards can be earned via gameplay. Also, not all in-game items in Blankos are NFTs or are on the blockchain. You can also use our in-game currency called Moola, which is gained just by playing the game, to get amazing accessories and items!

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

Blankos Block Party is built on a private, permissioned blockchain based on the EOSIO infrastructure that uses a Proof of Authority consensus model that is more environmentally friendly and sustainable than the Proof of Work model. Minting NFTs and integrating the Marketplace via our platform does not require any mining.

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

Yes we do have a marketplace called the Mythical Marketplace! You can, optionally, buy and sell the items that you have earned (or purchased).
