What is Raini: The Lords of Light?
Raini: The Lords of Light (RTLOL) is a competitive, exciting, brand-new Trading Card Game created by Raini Studios, based in Sydney, Australia. The game has been designed from the outset to be a complete free to play game, giving players the option of digital ownership of in-game items using blockchain technology.
Players can either construct their own decks, or use pre-made Theme Decks to battle against players from around the world, unlocking new items, climbing the leaderboards, and competing to see who is the most powerful hero in the Rainiverse!
Do I need to understand the blockchain to play Raini: The Lords of Light?
Not at all! In RTLOL, players have the option of collecting and battling opponents using SoulBound Cards (SBCs), which can be obtained from packs within the in-game store, or Collectable Cards (CCs) (also known as NFTs). Both SBCs and CCs have the exact same in-game abilities and power, giving players the choice of how they would like to expand their collection and build decks.
Collectable Cards, in addition to allowing players to play RTLOL, can also be traded or sold, giving players true digital ownership of their cards, just like real physical cards!
Players who choose to collect Collectable Cards can link their collection at the RTLOL Homepage (新しいタブで開く) and will then be able to see their collection within the game.
Which blockchains are supported by Raini: The Lords of Light?
We support Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Avalanche blockchains. By supporting multiple chains, we give our players the choice of keeping their collections where they choose, an essential aspect of actual digital ownership.
What is PHOTON?
PHOTON is a blockchain-based token, which can be earned by playing RTLOL. You can then use PHOTON to buy premium in-game items, including the PHOTON tier battle pass, and Collectable Card packs and bundles. You can also convert PHOTON into LUX, our premium in-game currency, to spend within the in-game store.
How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?
NFT ownership or blockchain interaction is not a requirement to play and enjoy the product. It is meant to simply expand the experience for players who are interested in blockchain gaming. Players can experience the full depth of strategic, competitive gameplay and expand their collection of SoulBound Cards without any interaction with the blockchain.
What utility does this bring to the product?
For players who wish to collect Collectable Cards (also known as NFTs), they will enjoy true digital ownership of their items and be free to collect and trade in the same way you would physical trading cards.
In addition, players can choose to convert PHOTON (an on-chain token) into LUX, our premium in-game currency, or unlock the PHOTON tier battle pass.
