Aeterna Noctis has a new update and is on sale for the first time on the Epic Games Store

The downloadable version is completely updated, and includes all the improvements made thanks to the feedback from its fan base, such as the ability to switch game modes between Aeterna or Noctis mode. This is an interesting feature that allows players to enjoy a challenge adapted to their playstyle. The so-called Aeterna Mode features redesigned platforms and puzzles for a more accessible experience focused on action and exploration. The developers explain that this mode represents a pure Metroidvania experience, ideal for all types of players. On the other hand, the Noctis mode includes more demanding challenges and platform sections. According to the dev team, this is how the game was designed in the first place.
Another update developed thanks to the feedback received after the launch was the improvement in the control of movements and jumps of the King of Darkness, the main character of the adventure. This allows players to activate the "smooth controls" option, which increases the reaction speed of the character in the air, in addition to increasing the window of jump when hitting the ground. Without a doubt, another proof of the appreciation that the developers of Aeterna Noctis have towards their community.
This latest patch also features some fixes for minor bugs reported by users and improvements on the movement controls.
