Arknights: Endfield version 1.2 overview: Zhuang Fangyi, rerun banners, and more

This update has a lot to take in—including two new areas, new gear sets, and a re-run banner—but not everything will be available on day one. Things will be released regularly during the patch cycle, so you can take your time with the new content. Here's everything you can look forward to in Arknights: Endfield version 1.2.

A new AIC Outpost gives you another factory to manage, and a new set of AIC upgrades will let you optimize your existing facilities even further. Plus, with events regularly rotating throughout the patch cycle, there's always something to look forward to in Arknights: Endfield.
Arknights: Endfield 1.2 banner schedule
As always, you can split this Arknights: Endfield patch into two phases. For the first phase, the Thunder of Renewal banner featuring Zhuang Fangyi will be available.
Pulling on her banner also has a chance to get your Rossi or Tangtang—the two previous limited characters—or any of the other standard six-stars like Pogranichnik or Last Rite if you lose your 50/50. There's also a separate weapon banner to get her best weapon, Lone Barge, and the weapon banner will stick around for a while so you can save up.
You can pull for Zhuang Fangyi until May 22, 2026. Shortly before then, the second version 1.2 banner will appear with a group of characters to choose from.
Starting on May 14, the Fest of Brilliance banner begins. This is a special banner featuring a mixture of previous limited characters like Laevatain and Gilberta plus standard six-star units like Ardelia and Pogranichnik.
The same pull rates apply here, and you're guaranteed to get one of the four featured six-star units within 80 pulls. After 120 pulls, you'll get a Shimmering Moment Designation Permit, which can be exchanged for a specific operator from those four. Basically, you can try your luck like a regular limited banner, but there's a safety net at 120 pulls if you really want someone in particular.
Zhuang Fangyi
Zhuang Fangyi is a six-star Electric DPS that is easily one of the strongest characters in Endfield right now. Her kit is fairly straightforward, too, so she can easily become your team's offensive focus.
Zhuang Fangyi's playstyle revolves around Sunderblades, special weapons that she creates when consuming Electrification with her Mantra of Sundering battle skill. Her battle skill also channels existing Sunderblades to deal bonus Electric damage, and their damage output gets significantly stronger when Zhuang Fangyi uses her Smiting Tempest ultimate, which enhances all of her attacks.
Her combo skill restores her ultimate energy and forcibly applies Electrification to enemies, making it easy to set up her other skills. Zhuang Fangyi slots well into any team, and you'll be able to dominate any encounter with her lightning-focused kit.
Arknights: Endfield 1.2 event schedule
There are a bunch of events slated for Arknights: Endfield version 1.2. Ranging from simple log-in rewards to larger events with unique missions, the Arknights: Endfield 1.2 event schedule has plenty of Oroberyls and other rewards waiting to be claimed.
First up is the Subduer of the Blighted Sea event, which runs from the release of version 1.2 through May 14, 2026. This event tasks you with unlocking TP points and building facilities in the new Marker Stone area in exchange for Oroberyls.
Next is the Etching of Our Cosmic Dreams event, beginning on April 24, 2026 and lasting until the next major patch. This event gives you camera quests aboard Dijang where you can take some pictures to earn some easy rewards.
Moving ahead just a few days, the AIC Support: Palm-Top Savior event kicks off on April 28 and runs through May 13. This event has a ton of Oroberyls and upgrade materials to claim, but you'll need to manufacture event-specific items at your factories to get them.
Toward the end of the patch cycle, the Curious Use of Xiranite and Supply: Wuling Super Chef events will both begin on May 14. Curious Use of Xiranite will be structured like Subduer of the Blighted Sea, but in the Test Area region of Wuling. On the other hand, the Wuling Super Chef event is similar to Palm-Top Savior, but with food instead of factory goods.
