Bendy and the Ink Machine is an action-puzzle game set in a horrifying cartoon-infested world.

You play as Henry Stein, who receives a mysterious letter from famed animator Joey Drew. You’ll explore Henry’s past through the prism of the abandoned Joey Drew Studios workshop. Back in its 1930s heyday, the studio’s animators produced cartoons starring the titular Bendy (their most popular character) using the equally titular Ink Machine. Now, decades after the fact, you'll investigate what happened.

Bendy and the Ink Machine's creators drew inspiration from the BioShock series, with stark lighting, creepy atmosphere, and a narrative aided by BioShock-esque audio recordings that imbue you with the undeniable sense that something once so right has become very, very wrong. Gameplay spans the gamut from puzzle-solving to combat, as Henry pieces together the tragedy and encounters real-life versions of his childhood’s cartoony companions.
