Celebrate Seven Years of Rocket League with Birthday Ball

Celebrate Rocket League’s 7th Anniversary with Birthday Ball, a new Limited Time Event! The party kicks off with a week of Heatseeker, then a week of Knockout. Throughout the event, players can unlock Birthday Ball rewards, earn up to 300 credits, and buy special Anniversary outfits in the Item Shop.

Birthday Ball Modes

The competition is always heated with Heatseeker. Players can jump into this magnetic LTM July 6 - 13 to get a taste of aim-botting without the ban!

Knockout crashes the party July 13 - 19! Attack, Block, and Grab your way through the Quadron, Carbon, and Calavera Arenas. This hectic free-for-all features eight players at once. The more, the merrier, right?

Birthday Ball Challenges

We don’t want to hog all the presents! Players will get the delicious gift of ka-ching when they complete Birthday Ball Challenges. Completing them all will net players up to 300 Credits! 

Players can also earn the Golden Goat Player Banner, Precious Metal Avatar Border Import an Import Item Drop, and 20,000 XP. That’s a whole lotta reason to celebrate.

Wear Your Birthday Best

Dress for the occasion with the new Fancy Formal Fennec Decal! Past tux Decals for Octane and Dominus have gone over so well that we decided to complete the trio!  Titanium White Fennec will also be in the item shop for anyone who wants to dress to the nines. 

We’re also rolling out two new golden items! Grab the Spyder: Anniversary Edition Wheels or Top Hat: Anniversary Edition Topper to show off your serious style accolades. They won’t make you play any better, but when you look this good, you just don’t care.

Straight From The Golden Goose

Kind words are always appreciated… but we want presents! During Birthday Ball, players can earn Golden Eggs to unlock Items from the Champions Series 1-4. Golden Eggs work just like previous Golden rewards⁠—complete the Challenge up to five times to earn Golden Eggs, then open them in your Inventory to unlock Items. You might even end up with some new Exotic or Black Market parts to play with!
