In addition to a new Spider’s Thread game mode and added skills, areas to explore, side missions, extended story cinematics, Photo Mode enhancements and more, players will also encounter new hostile Visitors haunting the streets of paranormal Tokyo. Before you face these other worldly threats head-on, here’s a brief on some of the new foes you may encounter:
Retribution
Able to ‘swim’ through Tokyo’s concrete structures like water, this agile foe can be quite tricky to get a bead on. Thankfully, the Spider’s Thread update also includes combat enhancements such as the Charge Rush attack, which boosts your Ethereal Weaving to new levels! Push your Water weaving past its limits for an icy gust that can stop those ghostly assassins in their tracks.
Silent Gaze
You’d think it’d be hard to miss this behemoth of a Visitor, but the Silent Gaze has a trick up its sleeve – it can cloak itself! While nigh invisible, the effect isn’t perfect – keep a keen eye to track the Silent Gaze’s position and you’ll stay one step ahead.
Sanguine Dancer
This high-flying Visitor can hover high above Tokyo’s skyline, raining deadly projectiles from above. With the Spider’s Thread update, players can now also utilize a handy Quick Dodge to stay out of the harm’s way and even deploy their own Tengu Wind Talisman to regain the high ground – it takes two to tango with the Dancer, after all!The Spider’s Thread update for Ghostwire: Tokyo is available NOW, free for all players via the Epic Game Store.
