In a galaxy far, far away… explore the Resistance Base, Vader Samurai’s Solitude, and more in Fortnite

That’s no moon… That’s the Death Star parked right outside the Fortnite map! Let’s dive into Fortnite Battle Royale’s latest mini-season that (until June 7) features all things Star Wars—yes, even Darth Jar Jar! As a lifelong fan, I could not be more excited to capture the beauty and fan service this Season has to offer. So strap in, because we’re going to fly through this Season in less than 12 parsecs. And to that one person coming to tell me that parsecs are a unit of distance, not time—Sheev Palpatine can wear Crocs, and Luke Skywalker is doing the griddy. This is where the fun begins!
Resistance Base
Our first drop takes us to the Resistance Base, which features the iconic Millennium Falcon. While we can’t fly that hunk of junk, it sure is pretty! Then again, there IS a massive Death Star hovering over the map, so maybe we can later in the season. Be sure to talk with Poe Dameron before leaving; he’s got some intel and goodies to share.

IT’S OVER JONESY, I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND! The resistance base has lots of perches to see the action. Still need to go higher? More often than not, there’s an X-Wing parked somewhere in the vicinity to help you rain down Rebellion fire from above.

The inside of the base is as close quarters as it gets in a huge map like this. Hallways, tight corners, and scattered cover make this one of the best spots to pull out a pump shottie and get to blasting—fast and hard!
First Order Base
Cue Kylo Ren theme: Our second drop brings us to the First Order Base. Riddled with First Order Troopers and Captain Phasma herself, this place is no cakewalk.

Make your way to the back, and you’ll find a hangar bay with some TIE fighters under repair. But why stare at TIE fighters when you can pull an Andor and steal one? That’s right, WE fly now. Hop in your own TIE outside and make a getaway.

Outpost Enclave
Forget about those Tosche Station power converters, I’m headed to Outpost Enclave for some CHUG JUGS! Don’t like sand because it's rough, coarse, and gets everywhere? Don’t worry, you can hop in the massive sandcrawler parked outside that offers multiple levels of loot.

Don’t mistake “desert” with “barren." This location is packed with all kinds of interesting locations and nods, like the head of one poor R5 droid—possibly a bad motivator?
Vader Samurai’s Solitude
One notable location from this Season hasn’t changed—but it’s been taken over! Samurai Vader and his Stormtroopers have made the top of this red-clad mountain their home for the Season. Challenge Vader if you dare, but don’t underestimate his power…

eAT-eAT
Forget DoorDash; I’m exclusively ordering through eAT-eAT from now on! It may be a run-down hole in the wall, but the food is to lose an arm for!

Grab yourself an order #66, some impossible tauntaun meat, and don’t forget that they deliver!
May the Force be with you!
The map is packed full of Star Wars locations, but keep an eye out for the scattered points of interest that feature clones, Stormtroopers, and mysterious Force rifts. Good luck and may the Force be with you—especially when you’ve been separated from your entire squad and find yourself being chased down by two TIE fighters. In that case, godspeed, rebels.
