However, I’m here right now to tell you a little bit about a super exciting free update coming to DEATH STRANDING today on the Epic Games Store. An update that none of you are expecting!

We’re delighted to announce that DEATH STRANDING is crossing over with CD PROJEKT RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 in our latest update. Exclusive to PC, this free update includes six new missions featuring characters and lore from Cyberpunk 2077, as well as exclusive items and an all-new Hacking function. More on that shortly.

Unlockable in game, new content includes a Cyberpunk 2077 themed Reverse Trike vehicle (as featured in our latest trailer) with improved jumping power, Johnny Silverhand’s robotic arm “Silver Hand” that Sam Bridges can equip and use in-game, fashion items including Johnny Silverhand’s sunglasses, and all-new holograms (a SAMURAI symbol signboard and a Atlas Trauma Team vehicle hologram) for certain constructions.

As mentioned, our DEATH STRANDING x Cyberpunk 2077 update also introduces a new Hacking feature, enabling Sam Bridges to target enemy machines and apply negative status effects. Mule sensor pole activations can now be stopped temporarily, enemy Odradeks can be stunned and Mule truck electronics can be hacked and short out, stopping them in their tracks. 

Not only is the DEATH STRANDING x Cyberpunk 2077 update launching today, but we’re also knocking a huge 50% off the game here on the Epic Games Store, for a limited time. If you’ve been on the fence for a while, there’s no better time than now to begin your journey to reconnect society.
