Hello Travelers! The Genshin Impact dev team is back again to present you with another Version Update arriving in the Epic Games Store on March 1st. As springtime approaches in Mondstadt, Version 3.5 "Windblume's Breath" will treat you to a feast with the Windblume Festival, the city's longtime tradition, along with the arrival of two new playable characters, Dehya and Mika.

Meanwhile, a new Archon Quest will witness the destiny of the twins in Sumeru, where the Traveler will join hands with Dainsleif and Kaeya to uncover more about the Abyss and Khaenri'ah.

The Celebration of Love and Freedom

As the spring breeze brings forth a sea of flowers in the Nation of Freedom, this year's Windblume Festival is inviting old friends for a refreshing trip. After the crisis was resolved in Sumeru's main storyline, Collei and many more who had suffered from Eleazar were finally free from this chronic illness. Now, she is ready to revisit Mondstadt with the company of Tighnari and Cyno. During the best season of Mondstadt, the group will meet up with old friends, and embark on an exciting adventure to solve a mysterious prophecy for a supreme blessing.

In addition to the expanding the story, the festivities also have new fun game modes, such as the rhythm game "Ballads of Breeze," the maze chase mode "Floral Pursuit," and a photo tour in "Breezy Snapshots." The exclusive Claymore "Mailed Flower" and other rich festive rewards await you!

The Flame-Mane and the Rising Star

One new character is renowned as a legendary Eremite mercenary, while the other is a rising star in the Knights of Favonius. Though fighting for different purposes, both new playable characters Dehya and Mika are honorable companions with versatile fight styles.

A dependable companion during the crisis in Sumeru, Dehya finally joins the playable roster as a five-star Claymore wielder with a Pyro vision. This top-rank mercenary is well-known for her reliable personality and versatile battle skills. With her Elemental Skill, she will create a unique flaming field named "Fiery Sanctum" that burns all enemies within and transfer a portion of damage taken by teammates to herself. When Dehya unleashes her Elemental Burst, she will put aside her Claymore, and punch her enemy at an increasing pace dealing Pyro Damage, finishing with a stylish kick.

More about Dehya's past can be found in her Story Quest "Mantichora Chapter." In addition, Faruzan, one of the "oldest" researchers in Sumeru Akademiya, is also ready to reveal more about herself and the most prestigious institute in all of Teyvat.

The new four-star Cryo Polearm wielder Mika is a rising star and the most active cartographer among the Knights of Favonius. Despite his lack of social skills, Mika is deeply trusted by colleagues as well as his leader Eula. As a good support in combat, his Elemental Burst allows teammates to constantly regain HP. Also, he can fire a crossbow at the enemy while using elemental attacks, as well as increase the attack speed and physical damage of his teammates at the same time.

Dehya will debut with Cyno's rerun in the Event Wishes for the first half of Version 3.5. Mika will debut along with the reruns of Kamisato Ayaka and Shenhe for the Event Wishes in the second half. From Version 3.6 onwards, Dehya will also be available in the Standard Wish.

Into the Abyss Order

The story of the Traveler twins and Dainsleif continues in Sumeru. In the new Archon Quest "Caribert," more secrets about the founding of the Abyss Order will surface as Kaeya, a true descendent of Khaenri'ah, joins the Traveler.

Danger also awaits in the dark. Be prepared to face a powerful new Abyss Herald and a new Black Serpent Knight that stand in your way.

Besides, as the Traveler's story continues to expand, we'd like to bring more rewards for those who've gone through the main story. Starting from Version 3.5, one additional Intertwined Fate will be given for each completed Archon Quest.

More Fun Events

In Version 3.5, Genius Invokation TCG will continue to feature the limited-time "Heated Battle Mode." With new special rules to reduce the Elemental Dice required for playing cards and Character Skills, the pace of the game will be taken up a notch. In addition, Eula, Sangonomiya Kokomi, and Kujou Sara will join the fray as new Character Cards.

For those interested in Fabulous Fungus Frenzy or Theater Mechanicus, the "Fungus Mechanicus" event will combine the gameplay of the two into a new mode. Travelers will select Fungi and control their actions to wipe out all the Mechanici on the stage. Again, Marvelous Jellies will be the key to more Fungi skills, tactics, and ultimate victory.

All in all, after the busy grand celebration of Teyvat’s new year and an intense adventure into the desert, the upcoming update will give more time to revisit characters from the past. As crisis settled down in Sumeru, the Traveler also finds more clues leading to the lost twin. And we also wish every Traveler an inspiring start of the year!
