Glorious Mutated Dinosaur Mayhem in Second Extinction

Second Extinction is a cooperative first person shooter where you and your friends face off against fierce mutated dinosaurs and the combined efforts of the community can change the tide of battle.

Now is your chance to join the dinosaur mayhem as Second Extinction is free to claim on the Epic Game Store from December 21st 11:00 AM PT to December 22nd 11:00 AM PT.

This Early Access game just got its seventh major content update (called pre-seasons) and with the recent addition of crossplay you can team up with your friends on PC or Xbox to fight back against the reptiles. Choose between regular missions, free roaming the map, or stand your ground in Horde Mode!

In the recently added Horde Mode you’ll start inside a crashed dropship with only a pistol. While you catch your breath between the waves of attacking enemies you can buy new equipment and abilities with Kill Credits - earned by slaying Dinosaurs. As you progress, the waves get harder, and your job is to kill the hordes and stay alive.

In Second Extinction you can choose between six heroes from three different classes. The swift and nimble Ortega and stealth sniper Jürgen are both Troopers - an agile DPS class. 

Next up are the Enforcers: the tanks with the big guns. Rosy the welder and the rugby player Jack are your choices for this class. 

Finally, there is the gadgety Operator class where you will find the explosives- and laser-wielding Amir, as well as the cunning scientist Sunetra. 

Try them all out to see what works best for you and your playstyle!
