Gamers around the world hold us to our word when we claim to create unforgettable experiences. That’s why we’re bringing new features like Weapon Crafting, gear transmog, custom map support, a new event, and new skin bundles to Dying Light 2 Stay Human. It’s time to review everything the latest Gut Feeling Update offers.

First, we want to talk about physicality improvements. Special Infected can now be dismembered. We’ve added new visualization for spliced enemies, like visible bones, ribs, and other internal organs. Occasionally, players will run into an animation that will let them spill the guts of the Infected when fighting. 

We really wanted to make sure the combat had a better overall feel. For that reason, extra care was put into enemies' applied force and weight, especially in scenarios akin to a “domino effect” where AI falls on other AI. Regarding ragdoll physics, players will learn that it feels much more grounded yet unrestrained and fun.

The fan-requested transmog is finally coming to the game. You can now wear your favorite outfit and ensure it has the best performance in the field. Modify the appearance of your character without getting rid of the high stats. 

Our developers are also adding a new system called Weapon Crafting. In the previous versions of the game, your weapons could break. This would result in losing the items forever. With this new update, certain weapons will come with a blueprint of their own, allowing you to build them as many times as you want. Carry out the process with the Craftmaster vendors scattered throughout The City. Bear in mind that to craft the best version of a weapon, you must first fully upgrade its blueprint.

The upcoming Viral Rush event (Apri 20–May 4) is going to give Virals more power and resistance during the day hours. This means the Special Infected have gained a super hearing ability. No survivor is safe from the clutches of these monsters, even during the day. Decapitate them and keep the mutation under control to complete community goals in exchange for unique rewards. 

You can collect the Rahim Bundle set during the event by completing the aforementioned objectives. Imagine what Rahim’s life could’ve been like outside Harran. Scavenge the streets of Villedor as the gloating runner or take on the lifeless form of his special Infected outfit. Keep your cool as you fend off hordes with the Pickaxe, modified to deal fiery damage, and take to the skies like a pro with a new paraglider that glows in the dark.
