Earlier this year, we announced Remedy Entertainment was to be among the first developers to join us on our Epic Games Publishing journey. This month, this legendary studio that grew from the demo scene out of Finland turned 25. 

For more than two decades, Remedy has delivered best-in-class game experiences that have stuck with players over the years. The hard-boiled detective drama and innovative bullet-time gameplay of Max Payne. The unraveling the mysteries of Bright Falls in the psychological thriller of Alan Wake. The heart-pounding, supernatural 3rd person action of Control. Remedy’s games hold a special place in our hearts. 

One of the coolest things about our job is being fans of a team’s work and then having the opportunity to help them bring their dream projects to life. Of course, we were excited to sit down with their team last year to hear about what they were thinking about next. After a few meetings and getting to know each other better, it was apparent that their robust and exciting vision deserved the support and creative freedom that we were ready to offer. As fans, these were games we needed to play. 

We’re eager to share them with you, but it’s too early to shed light on Remedy’s next games. In the meantime: happy anniversary to Remedy Entertainment. We can’t wait to write the next chapter with you.
