Amnesia: Rebirth is a game to experience and feel, and what we have crafted is there for you to tread into and explore. It is not something you will win or lose, but rather a machine to transport you to the deserts of Algeria, to the caves, to weird places, and beyond. To ever more unsettling situations.

There is a sanctity to immersive games. When you tread into the experience, you make a pact with it. In Amnesia: Rebirth we ask you to be an ordinary human under extraordinary circumstances.

By honoring this pact, you will tread into the Magic Circle: The space where the normal rules of our reality are exchanged by the ones of the game’s world. This is how you will become part of our universe, and that is the way we have designed the game to be played.
