Killing Floor 2: Christmas Crackdown Update Out Now on EGS!

From the bowels of Hell to the gates of Elysium, Killing Floor 2 is back again with its time honored Christmas Crackdown update. This holiday we’re preparing this update of heavenly delights to fill you with the bloodcurdling joy that only Killing Floor can supply. We have two new weapons, a celebrated community map, a cornucopia of cosmetics, skins, and the usual complement of community requested quality of life tunes and improvements.
Finally making its official debut in game after winning 3rd place in the Non-Survival Category of the 2019 New Grounds Mapping contest, Elysium is joining the map roster for everyone to enjoy its otherworldly gameplay. Designed from the ground up for Endless mode, the map will take you to a bevy of different themed locations from round to round as you fight off the lost souls of previously defeated Zeds. Keep an eye out for certain reading materials and floral collectibles strewn across the map to unlock new secret locations to add to the rotation. If you’re expecting some guests of the Patriarch variety, don’t mind the blood rain in the central arena.
What would a holiday event be without some new toys to play with? This year we’ve prepared something special to find under the tree. First up is the infinitely versatile Frost Fang for the Berserker and Support perk. What does it do? It shoots, it blocks, it chops, it freezes, it does your dry cleaning. Well maybe not the last one, but this frost infused shotgun axe has a little of everything you need to get out of a tense situation while looking like an Industrial Age Viking to boot.
Secondly, have you ever wanted to weaponize your enemies blood against them? No, just,me? Anyway, with the HRG Vampire for the Field Medic you can finally break out your best Dracula impression to vacuum the blood from Zeds and then toss it back at them to poison them or at your teammates to give them a needed healing transfusion. Ingest enough blood into the weapon and you can fire high damage blood spikes as an alternate fire in order to take care of those pesky bigger Zeds that have a high tolerance against hemorrhagic shock.
You need not wait for an eternity for all this content for Christmas has arrived early. The Christmas Crackdown update is out now on EGS to enjoy with your friends and family.
