The MIX Spring Game Showcase 2026 arrived alongside GDC 2026 with a stream of independent games to showcase. 

The MIX dates back to 2012, when independent game developers and enthusiasts assembled to form the Media Indie Exchange (a.k.a. the MIX). Here in early 2026, they’ve teamed up with Kinda Funny to showcase indie games together.

Blood: Refreshed Supply

A trailer for Blood: Refreshed Supply showed off the game that arrived late last year courtesy of Nightdive Studios, a developer dedicated to bringing back “lost and forgotten gaming treasures.” 
 

You play as the undead gunslinger, Caleb, who spent his time in the trailer chucking dynamite at gigantic bat-like creatures, pulverizing zombies with a shotgun, and hunting down his former demonic master and betrayer, Tchernobog. 

You can buy Blood: Refreshed Supply in the Epic Games Store today, and you’ll get a free expansion, Death Wish: Expansion for Blood, later this month. 
 

Smalland: Survive the Wilds

Developer Merge Games’ Smalland: Survive the Wilds surrounds tiny people with gigantic creatures. 

Today’s trailer showed the tiny beings fighting bees, riding scorpions, and running across picnic tables, when they weren’t building a civilization. The game is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, but you can buy Smalland in the Epic Games Store right now. 

The Player Who Can't Level Up

Developer Tripearl Games’ The Player Who Can't Level Up is an action roguelite based on web novels and cartoons that share its name. 

At the MIX Spring Game Showcase 2026, a trailer followed the protagonist, who’s stuck at level one, fighting his way up a mysterious tower filled with hordes of enemies. Even though he can’t technically level up, every time he ascends the tower, he also becomes stronger, through unlocking new combat styles.
