After the successful launch of our Ox Hide, the first scenario of The Rise of Carthage campaign, we are proud to release the next chapter in the Carthage’s story - Riches and Influence.

Over the previous century, Carthage established itself as a stable nation and the richest of Phoenicia's colonies. Now, under King Mago of the Magonid dynasty, the future is once again uncertain as Babylonian forces under Nebuchadnezzar are laying siege to Tyre, the economic heart of Phoenicia.

With the future of Tyre no longer certain, you must unite the Phoenician colonies under your influence to develop Carthage into a self-sufficient empire and establish a powerful navy to become the new crown jewel of Phoenicia.

Show me the money: With Tyre under siege, Carthage must amass wealth and resources quickly to become self-sufficient and establish its dominance among the Phoenician colonies. In this regard, money really does buy happiness.

My big fat Greek rival: Thanks to a very tenuous relationship with Greece, you must carefully navigate the land, securing as much wealth as possible. While you aren’t forced into conflict, it’s clear that Greece won’t be happy with the competition as you snatch up precious resources.

Make the choices only a leader can: With several objectives to meet, you have the final say in how to achieve them. Will you conquer weaker colonies, or will you share resources and bring them under your influence? Will you agitate the Greeks or maintain the peace? The empire is yours to control.

Your legacy survives: Players have the option to begin this second scenario with the default settings or carry over their progress from the first scenario, Ox Hide. Choices which carry over include city placement, family assignments, and event decisions, which can have an impact on this scenario.
