You play as a spacefaring gnome who embarks upon a quest to discover its origins, somewhere in the cosmos. This journey of self-discovery is made possible thanks to the power imbued in a magical flute that fell from parts unknown and landed near the gnome’s house. Along your planet-hopping journey, you’ll meet a cast of supporting characters—like an engineer, multiple mechanical monstrosities, a cadre of monks, and more—as you inch closer to solving the mystery behind where the gnome came from. 

Samorost 3 is a showcase of developer Amanita Design’s handcrafted artistic aesthetic. Every scene looks like an intricately detailed blend of real-world miniature models and digital artwork. Within those scenes, you’ll find brainteasers and puzzles abound. And you'll solve every puzzle across nine alien worlds without any comprehensible dialogue or text, accompanied only by music and sound effects from composer Tomáš “Floex” Dvořák.
