Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story tells the tale of Nunu and Willump, a boy and his yeti best friend. After Nunu dreams of his mysteriously absent mother Layka, the dynamic duo embarks on an epic quest to find her. They travel across the frigid blue Freljord, solving puzzles, scaling cliffs, unraveling mysteries, and battling against both the elements and fearsome adversaries in a land full of magic, songs, and wolves.

One of the best-hidden secrets in Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story is a series of seven mysterious murals scattered throughout the Freljord, often hidden just off the critical path. In this Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story murals guide, we’ll show you where to find each and every mural, uncover a surprising secret, and earn the “It Was Him” achievement.
Song Of Nunu Mural 1 The Serpent Grellfeen 4

Mural 1: The Serpent (Grellfeen)

You’ll find the first mural within minutes of starting Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story. Just after Nunu jumps onto Willump’s back, you’ll be pointed towards some platforms and directed generally towards the rising sun.

Instead, head the other way, and look for a pillar with claw marks on it. Attack that pillar and it’ll fall down, creating a bridge to another area. Balance your way across the bridge, and interact with the mural in the cave in the distance.

If this is the first mural you’ve found, you’ll pop the Feels Familiar achievement.

Mural 2: Ornn

You’ll encounter a puzzle where you have to play two notes to raise and lower a pair of round rocks and get Willump up to a cliff.

The second mural is located in a cave just after this puzzle. When you enter the next room, turn right and follow the path that leads directly to the mural.

Mural 3: Anivia Battles a Watcher

Just after the platforming section in which Nunu ponders Anivia’s true size, you’ll hop onto solid ground. Go through a door, and hug the left wall.

Jump down into the pit, fight off three wolves, and head into a small cave, where you’ll find this mural to uncover.
Song Of Nunu Mural 4 Avarosa 4

Mural 4: Avarosa

After you collect the Jurlberry from the Abandoned Stronghold, slide down toward the exit. At the bottom, scale the wall while Nunu complains that Willump never talks about a certain mysterious topic.

When you reach the top, it’s clear that you need to throw a snowball to break some rocks and exit the area—but wait!

Turn right instead, walk a few yards, and you’ll find this mural.

Mural 5: Anivia

After you complete the ice garden area and collect your reward, you’ll sled down a hill to exit (as usual).

When you land at the bottom, instead of going straight and chucking a snowball at another exploding plant to clear the way, take the path to the right.

Walk past a couple of happy boulders on your right, drop down a few ledges, and jump over to a rock formation in the distance, where you’ll find this mural.

Mural 6: Volbear

After the snowball fight in the ice cave among the frozen soldiers, face the frozen Ursine beast, and then walk behind it.

Willump will break an ice wall, and this mural will be in the room hidden on the other side.

Mural 7: Yeti Echoes

After you arrive in the yeti’s ancient city, you’ll need to bang three drums to open a door.

As you’re facing the door that you need to open, there’s a drum in the middle (which you hit when you arrived), a drum on the left, and a drum on the right. Head to the slide by the drum on the right, and follow the path ahead, which leads to several puzzles spread across multiple platforms.

When you arrive at the second-to-last platform, you’d normally need to climb down and jump over to the final platform. You’ll know you’re there because, as you’re climbing down, Nunu will say something about how close you are. Don't leave just yet!

Explore the second-to-last platform instead, and you’ll find an ice wall to break.

Make your way past that, and you’ll see a turtle-like Ancient Krug. Walk up to it, pull out Nunu’s magical Svellsongur flute, and play the notes that appear above the Ancient Krug’s head.

Kite him over to a bare area of a nearby wall, above which you’ll see some rocks that Willump can climb. Put your Svellsongur away when the Ancient Krug is standing where you can climb it. Hop up, climb the wall, and you’ll find the game’s final mural in the room at the top.

As a reward for your effort, you’ll receive the It Was Him achievement and learn a surprising detail about the artist behind the murals.

There’s much more to explore, and you can find Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story in the Epic Games Store.
