How to Access The Chivalry 2 Closed Beta
Pre-purchase Chivalry 2 today for guaranteed access to the Crossplay Closed Beta, and the full game at its release on June 8, 2021.Once you’ve pre-purchased, the Chivalry 2 Beta will appear in your Epic Games Store library on April 23, 2021!
Here are some quick tips for how to survive in the chaos of Chivalry 2’s sprawling 64-player battlefields:
Be aggressive!
During an attack, you can adjust the aim and speed of your swings by dragging your mouse.
Your mouse (or right analog stick if using a controller) controls your character's hip movement! Accelerate your weapon swing by moving into the swing direction.
Strike your opponent first to interrupt their attack!
Interrupting an opponent’s flow will gain you the initiative. Keep attacking if you’ve gained the upper hand!
Chain attacks together by initiating another attack before your current attack completes.
Comboing your attacks will make you a whirlwind of steel, speeding up your attacks and allowing you to cut through crowds of enemies with ease
Seize every opportunity!
Every weapon has its own special attack.
⦁ Special attacks are slower and can be interrupted more easily - but the reward for a successful special is a ton of damage and a stagger effect. You’ll just need to pick the right window to unleash your fury.
Use numbers to your advantage; group up!
⦁ Sometimes the best offense is… more offense! You don’t always have to be the hero; there’s no shame in getting into a formation with your teammates to overwhelm the enemy together.
Improvise!
Use feints to confound your foes.
⦁ You can wind up one attack and then quickly switch to another attack, baiting your opponents to go on the defense or perform an incorrect counter.
Pick up any weapon you see on the battlefield!
⦁ Tons of items in the world can be picked up and used as a weapon too. A farmer’s scythe, a wooden barrel, or even an unsuspecting chicken can become a lethal tool on the battlefield in your hands.
