Not sure where to start? We got you. Let me explain how to get to the new area and what you should do when you get there. Those limited-time rewards are waiting!
Last time on Infinity Nikki
In Infinity Nikki, Stylists have the magical ability to create superpowered clothing. After arriving in Miraland, one of her main goals is collecting the Miracle Outfits, outfits that hold godly powers that could save the world. At this point in the story, Nikki has already unlocked two Miracle Outfits: the Wishful Aurosa and Silvergale Aria. She hopes to find another Miracle Outfit in Itzaland, a region in a foreign nation called Terra’s Alliance.
Itzaland, and all the quests, outfits, and rewards that come with it, is the highlight of the 2.0 update. So I’d recommend playing through the prequel quests to get there and earn the limited-time rewards while you can. You can travel between regions to explore whenever you want.
How to get to Itzaland
Infinity Nikki 2.0 lets you sail straight to Itzaland from the Sea of Stars, the new social playground introduced in the 1.5 update. A marker for the quest "Where the Divinity Lies" leads you to the harbor, with the option to board a boat to Itzaland. However, if you haven’t completed prerequisite quests, you’ll get a warning about skipping the prologue, though it doesn't actually explain how to experience it.

I had to dig into my quest log to find the details. If you’d rather experience the story in order without skipping the prologue, you need to finish the “Legends Carried By Wind” quest first. After that, you should be prompted to talk to Dada about Itzaland and see objective markers in the Sea of Stars and the Abandoned District.
Other players have also reported skipping straight to Itzaland by talking to the stationmaster Piecey in the Windrider Mill area of the Abandoned District. When the “Where the Divinity Lies” quest appears, it comes with an optional objective to talk to the Piecey to glide over to Itzaland instead of sailing.
What’s so special about Itzaland?
Itzaland is the largest region that Paperfold Games has added to Infinity Nikki since launch. It features two territories called Elderwood Forest and Spira, both of which have a more tribal theme than the more lush, green areas around the starting area of Heartcraft Kingdom.
New creatures such as Shroomlings, bipedal talking mushrooms that worship Nikki, and Demi-Dragons, mostly human creatures with dragon-like features, live in Itzaland and participate in the new storyline. Like the Faewish Sprites and Pieceys of Heartcraft Kingdom, these creatures have their own roles in the new quests and add character to Itzaland as a unique region.
How to get new ability outfits
Itzaland also comes with its own set of environmental challenges and Ability Outfits that allow you to overcome them. The headliner Archery ability is one of the first upgrades you get. It works similarly to the Purification ability from the first chapter, but instead of slamming enemies with bubbles of pure energy, you shoot them with infused arrows. As such, it adds a more directly combat-focused role to the game with aiming and abilities like raining arrows that add nuance to the combat system.
The Heart of Infinity adds an Itzaland section separate from the Florawish and the Sea of Stars trees. Before you officially unlock Archery, you get a taste of it with a tutorial within the opening moments of the chapter. After, you can unlock it in the Heart of Infinity skill tree with crafting materials like with past Ability Outfits. Infinity Nikki 2.0 also introduces other abilities like Gigantifiation, which makes Nikki larger to increase movement capabilities like speed and field of view, and Sticky Claw, which lets her swing between targets like a grappling hook.

That means you also need Whimstars to unlock these abilities. Unfortunately, Whimstars aren’t a shared resource between skill trees, so you’ll need to start your collection from scratch in Itzaland.
The Archery ability was the only “urgent” ability I found the need to unlock right away because of dangling Esslings and other obstacles that needed me to use it. That said, I was perfectly happy to explore with just archery in the opening hours of the update, even though you will inevitably unlock more as you progress through the story.
New outfits and rewards

As part of the anniversary update, Infinity Nikki also offers daily rewards and limited-time events that can easily earn you valuable resources and cosmetics.
- First off, you get 10 Revelation Crystals (for limited-time banners) for just logging in seven days in a row, and a free gift every day from the Nikki’s Wishes event. I’d recommend doing these if nothing else.
- Don’t forget to claim the free cosmetics from the Store in the limited-time Terra’s Treasure and Home Gallery sections. My favorite is the set of free dragon-themed accessories, which includes a crown, cape, and a baby dragon. If you apply the custom effect, it even lets you cradle the dragon in your arms.
- The Time to Collect event gives you Energy Crystals (for replenishing energy for farming materials and Eurekas) and Resonance Crystals for Whimstars you collect and Warp Spires you activate in Itzaland. It’s easy to find a few right away, so that’s low-hanging fruit to start with.
