Experience A Total War Saga: TROY in even more horrifying detail with the Blood & Glory DLC! This pack introduces several new gory effects to battles and the campaign map, letting your warriors charge into the Trojan War in all its blood-soaked glory.

Campaign effects:

  • Blood-drenched event movies and pictures

  • Rivers run red with the blood of warriors slain in any massive battles

  • Bloodied monuments appear after large battles have been waged

  • Blood effects and decapitation in combat animations

Battle effects:

  • Blood sprays on weapon impacts, staining armour, chariots and horses

  • Chariots leave blood trails after trampling soldiers

  • Decapitation and dismemberment on death animations

  • Battles fought in rivers turn the water blood-red

Once installed, these effects can be activated through the graphics menu where you can increase or decrease the level of gore.

A Total War Saga: Troy absolutely nails its Bronze Age setting and comes up with interesting ways to make the period work in its grand strategy framework, but its AI has trouble wrapping its head around it.
