What utility does this bring to the product?

Crystale integrates blockchain technology to create unique digital assets for its cards and in-game items. Each card is represented as a non-fungible token (NFT), ensuring authenticity, verifiability, and ownership by the player.

What utility does this bring to the product?

The use of NFTs allows players to own, trade, and sell cards outside of the game environment. This enhances the value of achievements and rare cards, as they have real-world value in secondary marketplaces. It also ensures transparency in ownership and rarity of cards.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

Currently no, as the product is in testing stage you will not require a wallet. Eventually an external wallet is required to interact with the blockchain aspects of the game, such as purchasing NFTs or trading cards. Supported wallets will vary after the complete blockchain integration but expect popular wallets like MetaMask.

Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

Yes, you can play Crystale without directly engaging with blockchain features. However, access to certain features, such as rewards or trading, will require blockchain interaction.

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

Currently the game does use any chain. In the following updates and releases, the game will operate on BEAM, a blockchain optimized for gaming and NFTs. The specific chain and its consensus mechanism is Proof-of-stake.

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

No, Crystale does not have its own marketplace. We will use the Sphere marketplace which is part of the BEAM Eco-system. On Sphere, players can buy, sell or trade earned or purchased cards to enhance their deck, collect rare items, or monetize their in-game assets.

Are there in-app purchases within the gameplay? How are payments processed?

In-app purchases are currently not but will be available for buying new cards. Payments can be processed using cryptocurrencies (via connected wallets) or traditional payment methods, depending on future implementations.

What is included in Early Access?

In this Early access, players are able to play Crystale with the Fire Starter deck.

What is the current state of the game?

The current state-of-play is pre-alpha. This includes PVP with the Fire deck.

How long will the game be in Early Access?

Crystale will stay in early access for at least 3 months. We will communicate accordingly when we go out of Early Access.

How often will you be updating the game?

Crystale will add new features continuously, aiming at new playable content every 2 months.

Will my progress be saved during updates?

Currently, there is no direct progress to be made. The progress will not be saved, as it also has no real progress to be made at this stage of the game.

Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?

No, Crystale will stay F2P at this stage.
