Why is Don't Turn Back doing Early Access?

As it's our first game, we have done our absolute best to try and get everything about it right in terms of technical design and performance. That being said, we know for a fact that there are still things we want to improve and fix.

How long do you estimate you will be in Early Access?

We expect to be in early access for at least the rest of December and the entirety of January, this timeline may change depending on how many bugs are reported and how much we think needs to be optimized before we are confident that it is exactly how we want it.

How can I provide feedback and bug reports?

We love when people call us out on problems and bugs that you as players encounter, as we believe that staying connected to you wll help us improve faster. If you have any major problems please email us at [email protected].

What is the current state of the game?

The story for the game is complete. The majority of our concern is making sure that as many players as possible are able to play Don't Turn Back, that means optimizing and improving the game by removing bugs and adjusting graphical settings to make sure you have the best experience we can give.

What is the team prioritizing during Early Access?

We will mainly be focusing on bug fixes and and performance improvments. If necessary we will also tweak any gameplay aspects that players feel can or need to be improved.

Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?

Absolutley not. We think it unfair for people to pay one price for it in early access and than lowering it or raising it when we take it out of early access. We have one price and we are happy with it.

How often will you be updating during Early Access?

We will be doing quality of life improvments in large waves, which means we will update less often, but when updates are ready, they are loaded with fixes.
