Step into a competitive, strategic battleground where mastering team composition, adapting to the environment, and anticipating your opponents is key to victory. Build a powerful team of Illuvials, harness their synergies, and prove your tactical dominance in this fast-paced, dynamic and modern auto-battler.

Team Building with Illuvials

Build your team with Illuvials, each featuring unique stats, Omega abilities, and core synergies. Every Illuvial belongs to a Class (e.g., Fighter, Bulwark) and an Affinity (e.g., Fire, Water), forming the foundation of your team’s identity.
Evolve (ascend) your Illuvials to unlock a second class and affinity, transforming basic synergies into powerful composite synergies.

Synergies: Primary & Composite

Primary Synergies: Core identities like Fire, Water, Fighter, or Bulwark.
Stacking and combining synergies unlocks bonus thresholds that can turn the tide of battle so every decision in drafting and positioning matters. For instance, the fire synergy increases the attack of your team. The more fire units you have, the bigger this bonus will get.
Composite Synergies: Unlocked through evolution and bonding. These are powerful hybrids (e.g., Behemoth, Arcanite, Bloom, Shock, etc.) that scale your team’s effectiveness significantly.

There are up to 5 primary synergies for class and 5 for affinity. And 15 composite synergies coming from class and 15 from affinity!

Augments: Customize & Empower

Augments are powerful items that enhance your Illuvials and overall strategy. They come in three main types:

Forge Augments: Crafted by combining components to produce tailored effects.
Legendary Augments: Rare, high-impact augments with unique abilities.
Drone Augments: Global bonuses that affect your entire team, offering huge strategic advantages.

The Ranger: Your Wildcard Unit

The Ranger is your flexible, default unit — upgradable and fully customizable. Throughout the match:

Equip Weapons and enhance them with Amplifiers.
Upgrade your Suit to boost tankiness, damage output or utility.
Bond with an Illuvial to gain additional class/affinity — unlocking powerful composite synergies on the fly.
Rebond each round, allowing real-time pivoting based on enemy compositions.

Dynamic Arenas & Region Effects

Each match takes place in a unique region on the Illuvium planet, each offering distinct gameplay effects:

Bonus augments, healing, or damage boosts based on region.
Over 30+ region effects rotate, keeping each match feeling fresh and unpredictable.

Adapt your strategy to the environment, or be punished by it.

Hyper Bonus System

Certain Illuvials gain Hyper status when facing off against specific opposing affinities.

Example: A Water Illuvial may go Hyper when the enemy team has multiple Fire or Earth units, giving it a substantial power spike.

Other Round Mechanics: The Carousel & PvE Rounds

The Carousel: Players with lower HP get first pick from a shared roster of powerful Illuvials. A fair comeback mechanic that rewards smart choices.
PvE Rounds: Face off against neutral Illuvials instead of players. Win to earn credits and augments, giving you a mid-game edge.

Key Game Modes

Casual – Practice and experiment freely. No ranks, no pressure, just pure strategy and fun.
Ranked – Face players at your skill level and climb the leaderboard. The higher you rise, the greater the rewards.
Leviathan – Bring your own Illuvials to battle. Their power scales with their level and stats, giving collectors an edge. But in the end, only the most skilled Ranger will triumph.
